"This house is up a windy road in the hills, and as such is quiet and serene, although a quick trip down the hill gets you to a highway that will quickly whisk you away to Oakland, San Francisco or Walnut Creek. It's also within 10 minutes of gorgeous hiking among the redwoods. The space itself is beautiful and serene with artistic touches that make it stand out from other rentals. Highly recommended for when you want to recharge in a beautiful canyon setting!"

"Love this rental for numerous reasons! Location is ideal. (Short walk to Lazy Bird coffee for those who enjoy that!) Wonderful neighborhood with gorgeous homes and gardens. The cottage feels large for a one bedroom. Kitchen is beautiful and well appointed! Bed was so comfy! TV with plenty of offerings, WIFI was fast, shower great, (living room furniture is adequate but not "comfy" per se). Overall, a wonderful stay and a darling rental that met our needs extremely well! "The studio cottage was perfect for my month visiting UC Berkeley. It was exactly as described, everything was functional and fresh. It was also a great find and luxury to have our own laundry. It is in a quiet area, yet about a 5 minutes walk from Trader Joes and restaurants. Easy to get around by walking, city bike, and bus. Good walking distance to the university also. "We had a problem initially. We arrived at night and it was raining. The code to the gate to the back yard didn't work. So we contacted Brenda by phone. After 2 calls, she told us to press "C" and then enter the code. Oops! that info wasn't in the original message. After, everything was fine."

Beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows, linen, and towels for the bathroom. Kitchen was well appointed and we cooked several meals during our time there.
