“The room was spectacular - I stayed in the Parlor room on the 12th floor. I had a view of Comerica Park and Ford Field. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the restaurants were all amazing (I visited all three). I would highly recommend this hotel! The only downside is there was not a fridge in my room, but it was not advertised that there was one. Just keep this is mind.”

“Parking was great! They have a small parking lot (enough for the number of guests) right behind the houses that comprise the property, and so it was very convenient to park.
The property is lovely and I understand they are planning an updating project. The houses are interesting and historic, and the updating project will make them even more appealing.

“Detroit is full of beautiful old buildings and this is a great one, run by the same woman who worked on its renovation. I stayed in the Dahlia room, which has a jacuzzi and lovely fireplace. The bed was extremely comfortable. Morning coffee is served in a gorgeous parlor and solarium, and the proprietors are very attentive and helpful. ”

“Wonderful staff. Originally a 2 night stay, we encountered some car trouble on our way in and couldn’t check in on time. They held the room and reservation for us without any trouble. Great views and floor to ceiling windows. Smaller on the bedroom and bathroom side of things in our case, but both were updated to feel otherwise.”
