This is a great location, close to eateries and the lake. Also it was worthwhile to go up to the War Memorial which is very near the hotel for a view of the town and the lake.

Very clean and today and in great location. Opposite food trucks and bagels for quick coffee and dinners , 5 min walk to town. Lovely setting with garden and stream in back area . Older motel so no mod cons and looks a bit dated but good shower pressure and warm enough .

The accommodations were a bit roomier and nicer than other similar motel set-ups we stayed in during our NZ travels and we were very comfortable and pleased. The parking was a bit tight, but no matter as you can easily walk to town from the motel.
