Excellent location- just a short walk to the lake and shops. Room is clean and comfortable. The reception staff is helpful and friendly. Will definitely book this place if I visit Wanaka again.

Room was an acceptable size with a balcony. There wasn't much view as the building in front blocked it. Cups had smudges on them. Bathroom was not very acceptable especially the disgraceful sink, which measured 45cmx30cm, and part of that was a small area to put your toothbrushes I suppose! We had to brush teeth and washed hands most carefully to not splash all over. There was a shelf beside the toilet bowl, but felt disgusting to place our toothbrushes there. So we placed them and toiletries outside the bathroom. Shower area is on a tub. No door or curtains, but just a short glass. So basically proned to splashing so had to stick close to the shower head to reduce splashing. But the bathroom floor still got wet. Stressful shower.... The ceiling was thin. We heard guests upstairs stomping often and noises. Prob another guest couldn't tolerate it and we heard 2 loud bump coming from beside maybe on their ceiling. Then thankfully the "party" stopped. We were told there was no daily housekeeping nor change of towels. But the staff were flexible and obliged to our request for both. Location wise it was excellent cos virtually just crossed a road to Lake Wanaka. Also right in the small town so could walk everywhere. Parking was free. But the best grocery store was the one just outside of Wanaka. Huge.
