Better than expected!
This property was a total surprise. The description does not do it justice. Beautiful property, we wish that we could have stayed longer. The creek next to the property gives you relaxing sounds 24vhours. It is basically one ginormous room with a king bed, queen bed, bunks with full sizedbed and a twin. This will be the perfect property to bring our grandchildren to. If you have the energy left after exploring Cody & Yellowstone, you can play foosball, ping pong, unlimited games, books, fishing, walking, exploring the pond, canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boating on the pond. It was the perfect place to just relax! Convenient location for exploring Yellowstone and Cody. There are not enough words to say how wonderfully perfect this property is for a single, couple, friends, and family!

This is a beautiful spot that is close to Yellowstone but far from the crowds. The home is nice and clean, and they have worked hard to make it very beautiful and comfortable. The creek is awesome and is right by the door. The pond was also fun with boats to use. Our kids loved it! :-)

The property was as listed. The kids loved the pond where they were able to catch and release many small trout. They also had very good luck walking just a short distance to the river where they caught multiple large trout. The stream was beautiful and so close to the house. The mountain view was stunning. We also loved sitting on the swing. The property owners were wonderful. They answered all our questions and were right there when we needed something. They also gave us privacy. The kids loved the ping pong table. The kitchen worked well for us. The only thing we didn't love was that there was carpet in the bathroom and it was a lower level apartment so you couldn't see the view from inside, but we knew thats what we were getting when we booked. As soon as you stepped outside the views would take your breath away. The location to Cody and the Yellowstone was perfect. Our family had a great time here!

Jessica. We really enjoyed having your family stay here. Normally, the creek can be seen from the inside through the second set of large windows. During your stay, we still had the flood wall covering that window due to high water and the threat of flooding. See the photos for this view. Also, we do know the carpet in the bathroom is not ideal, so we have all carpets cleaned often. Rugs are placed in front of the toilet and bathtub, which are washed after each stay, and a terry cloth bath mat is also provided with each set of guests. Thank you again for staying with us. Great Base for Yellowstone East/NE & Cody
We stayed three nights as part of a trip through Yellowstone and then to Cody. Home is as pictured, nice western feel. The owners were helpful in communicating needed info. They do live onsite, as mentioned, but the unit has a good amount of privacy. The creek next to the property is lovely. My kids were sad they couldn’t wade in, as it was flowing fast due to snow melt this year. I imagine this is only really the case from May-July or so, likely much calmer in other times. Nice to listen to at night! Grass was mowed around the creek and the lake/pond, so you could easily fish in either. We planned to, but didn’t have time on this trip. It’s about 25 minutes west of Cody, so fairly convenient to Cody if you need to make a grocery run, but 25 minutes closer to Yellowstone which was nice. If you don’t mind driving each day, the East Entrance to YNP is really beautiful (and less crowded). The scenery from Wapiti to East Entrance YNP is really beautiful in its own right and several spots worthy of pulling over to take in the views. Unit was clean, lots of space. Beds were comfortable. Full sized fridge in kitchen, stove top, Keurig and dishwasher. Kids enjoyed ping pong & foosball. We didn’t need the heat, but I do believe it’s heated with a space heater, from the notes. All floors are carpeted, including bathroom, which I imagine helps with cold in fall/winter. May be an issue for some, but it was all clean. It’s a good base for YNP East/NE.

Beautiful property with great fishing
Neat, clean and well organized accommodations on a beautiful property. It was very spacious and fit our family of 4 comfortably. John and Gina are very kind, responsive and helpful and willing to share tips about the area. The extras of the ping pong table, foosball, games and books are a great touch. The kitchen is well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

My family of 9 stayed here for a over night. I really enjoyed sitting in the swing by the river. My son loved the foosball table and I only wish we had more time to go fishing. It was great for what we needed for a nights stay!

Wonderful stay
A well-stocked and spacious place to stay with everything as described. It was helpful for us to have all the beds so we each could sleep in our own. The scenery was beautiful and it wasn’t too far from town. Definitely was helpful to buy our groceries and have them at the house to use the kitchen and grill since there’s not a whole lot available between and in Yellowstone, without the crowds.

This was a nice way to get out of town and have some entertainment in the country. Our kids enjoyed the fuse ball and ping pong tables. If we had more time they would’ve loved fishing and paddle boating. Thank you!

Paradise in Cody
The property, the owners, the accomodations were absolutely superb! Not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Owners went above and beyond to accommodate us in varied ways. Communications were excellent, ambiance relaxing and homey. Just wish we could have stayed longer and just enjoyed the natural surroundings. Our bookworm daughter lost herself in a field with a picnic table that beckoned her to sit and read amongst the tall grasses and trees and sounds of the stream current sealed her temporary escape. She and enjoyed playing ping pong too, something I hadn't done in years, but it all se to come back. Not once did we turn tv on. A treasured locale

Perfect if visiting Cody/Yellowstone
We stayed 8 nights and it was perfect for our family of 6! Had plenty of room and the kids loved the ping pong table! So much to do right on the property we enjoyed cooking and using the creek and lake after long days in Yellowstone! It is a very short distance to Cody which has a Walmart and many restaurants! We would definitely stay again if in the area!

This gorgeous property is located in the perfect spot. Close enough for a trip into Cody, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of town. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a family reunion across the Lake, so it was a perfect place to stay. Awesome room for families, fun activities, and scenery. We really enjoyed the pond and paddle boat even though the weather was unseasonably cold. The kitchen was well stocked, and user friendly. We stayed 2 nights. Little bit of a drive to go do stuff, but a scenic gorgeous drive. The 2 larger beds looked the same in the pictures, so it was a nice surprise to see there were 2! I had figured it was a sofa bed.

Perfect Stay!
What a wonderful property! It was everything my family wanted and more. The room was clean, cool and full of activities for the whole family. Outside was beautiful whether you wanted to swing and watch the peaceful river or take a boat ride or fish in the pond. We felt right at home!

Kids did not want to leave here- unfortunately only stayed one night. They have a fun pond on the property with kayaks and paddle boats, which the kids jumped on right away! The apartment has plenty of games and DVDs. Very nice owners!!!

Fantastic cabin in scenic location!
Overall a fantastic stay at John and Gina’s cabin. They were very flexible with my reservation (stayed a Thursday and Sunday as we were in the parks the other days). Very comfortable stay. The amenities were awesome too. And also the location is very close to the East Yellowstone entrance and nearby a beautiful creek and lake. Will definitely return in the future.

Our three nights at location was relaxing and comfortable.
My family and I enjoyed our time at the location. It was clean and the host were sociable and informative regarding things to do in the area. Our family decided to take a trip into Cody to enjoy the rodeo and grab a bite to eat. There are no grocery stores nearby so you should stock up on food for the duration of your stay. Moreover, the nearest gas station is near Yellowstone or Cody, so plan accordingly. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Just Make the Reservation
It is hard to know where to start on this review. I'm beyond glad that a random search function brought me to this listing. Very homey and welcoming. The creek outback beyond beautiful to wake up to and come back and see throughout the day. Took our kiddos fishing on the boat and they had a blast. Sitting on the outside the city of Cody this little gem is certainly somewhere we will come and visit again we hope. The beds were so comfy that we all slept so well. So peaceful and quiet during the night. Gina and Jon are such amazing people, we received a very friendly hello and big waves anytime we happened to be crossing paths. The friendly kitty cat was a huge hit with our entire family. It was ao nice to be able to stay somewhere our kids could run around and enjoy also. We have a new walker, it was so nice for him to be able to boogy all around the apartment, unlike in a hotel or motel where the space is extremely limited. So just do yourself a favor stop debating on if this place is right for you or your family and just make the reservation. 🤗 Thanks again Gina and Jon for an amazing get away we sure needed.

Paradise is correct!
This is the 3rd time using one of Jon and Gina's properties, this being the 2nd at the Waterfront Paradise. They are super hosts. More than happy to help however they can. The house had everything you need then some. We were in town to fish, and boy were we not disappointed! Whether fishing, touring Yellowstone, or playing in Cody, this is the place for you!

Awesome Place!
The creek is literally feet from your door! We have two boys and they had a great time playing in the creek and on the pond. We had a morning cup of coffee and enjoyed the beautiful scenery with the sound of the creek in the background. The accommodations are very clean and spacious. Just a short drive to Cody and great opportunities for trail rides nearby. We highly recommend this welcoming, relaxing spot.

Our family enjoyed our two nights. We especially loved playing foosball and watching a movie as a family, something we hadn't took the time to do lately. The room is nice, we cooked breakfast both mornings in the kitchen, it was fully furnished. The ONLY negative thing (and it couldn't be helped), was there was so many mosquitoes outside we couldn't enjoy sitting outside or even walk around and look at the beautiful view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of four.

Amazing vacation spot!

This place was perfect and amazing! Jon and Gina were such welcoming hosts. They are truly kind people and took the time to answer all our questions about the area and provide recommendations. Their property is beautiful and a great place for a family to stay. It was clean and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. Plenty of things for the kids to do including ping pong, foosball, and the pond with a kayak and paddle boat. They even had the fire pit ready for us with wood and matches. Great location for Yellowstone and Cody. It is about 30-40 minutes to the East entrance of Yellowstone (very scenic drive too) and 10-15 minutes to Cody.

Fit my needs
Location just west of Cody was perfect for entering the East entrance of Yellowstone. Easy to get to. Communication with property management was perfect for what I was looking for. (Questions quickly answered through email and than a quick Hi at the property and that was it.) Bedding and appliances were old and/or not fancy, but sufficient.
