"We loved our stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and has a great front porch and lawn. The creek was lots of fun for our kids as well. Everything inside was well maintained. We didn’t use the back house at all but did check it out. Everything is close in Warm Springs so this place made the weekend very easy. I can’t imagine why staying at the Homestead would be better, at least with our young kids. We will visit again."

The beds were comfortable, though not the exact sizes and distribution in the listing. And we would have liked a little more water pressure for showers, but everything else was great. I loved all the snowmen decorations. Already planning for another visit."

We stayed the first week of March. The snow was melting. It was good to have a swimming pool and hot tub."

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."

As a topper this year we were able to see the aurora with no light pollution which was incredible. Highly recommend staying here, the place is cozy, the owner is awesome and is very communicative. So if you’re looking for a secluded getaway this is the one!"

Great location with beautiful views and the free shuttle service made getting into town very easy. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking to stay close to snowshoe village while still having plenty of privacy!"

"The pictures show it as a flowery place to stay, lots of blooming plants. Going in early spring those flowers haven't bloomed yet so I was a little disappointed but understood. The closeness of all the houses was neat however you have to drive a bit to find gas and food if you don't make a reservation at the Water Wheel. Living in a city this was a big change for me. I would have like to have more insight on what other locations were good for visiting for lunch or dinner."
