Weekend getaway

I stayed at the log cabin for a quick 2-night weekend getaway with friends. The cabin was very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies, and beds were comfortable. Very easy access to I-87 for getting around!

What else could you ask for

Everything was exactly as advertised and presented . Very clean home , with everything you need . Quick ride to anything you need as well as the town of Lake George . The river is extremely pretty for views and walking by. There’s a cute park right down the road too . Would definitely go back , thank you !

I will say that overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The only negative is the property photos are a little confusing as it looks like the river is closer than it really is. The front and back porches were the places to hang out. The younger adults loved the massage chair. Hot water is plentiful for showers. Fun fact: the intersection nearby is crazy. Many close calls between cars. Seriously though it was everything that our family needed for this vacation.

Cabin is very clean, owner very accommodating and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. We only lacked Wifi...it seemed unreliable but didn't affect us much as we spent most of our time away from our devices! Cabin has almost every thing we needed. It is close to the road so some traffic noise is inevitable but we were close to town/stores. All in all a pleasant place to stay!

Beautiful Log Cabin Home Away from Home

My Family and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful clean and nicely decorated log cabin home. The space was ample and the beds very comfortable. The Home is appropriately stocked with neccessary amenities. Glenda was a pleasure to work with allowing for smooth check in and out of the home, as well as great communication throughout the stay had we needed it. The property is only eight minutes away from Lake George Village. If looking to have breakfast outside of the home, we had a great breakfast less than two minutes away at New Way Lunch, staff was so pleasant and fast service. My family and I look forward to future stays at this home away from home.

I really liked the location. It is not far from Lake George and all the local attractions, yet out of the way of the city bustle. The home and furnishings are great. The parking is good and there are nearby parks along the River that are quite nice. There is an incredible massage chair that does wonders! We were a bit dissatisfied with the cleanliness. It could have used a good dusting and the shower/sink could have been cleaned better as well as the fridge. There were no paper towels which I find important to have on hand. It’s not nasty by any means but after spending about $1700 for a Tuesday at 4pm to Saturday 10am we were hoping for napkins and paper towels and cleaner fridge/ master bathroom. The mat on the back porch is awful, it needs to be thrown away; kept tripping on it. The house is on a main road so if you don’t like the sound of traffic bring ear plugs. Otherwise it’s a really nice log home and just needs a bit more TLC. Also The host was quick to get back to me.

Warrensburg cabin

Although close to the main street in Warrensburg, the area was very quiet at night. The cabin is very comfortable and welcoming, the massage chair was a great bonus!

I spent 4th of July weekend. The house is beautiful , clean, And amenities as advertised. Close to Lake George vil but with the enchantment of the country: peaceful , and quiet . Great experience overall. Recommended!!
