“We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was nice and cozy and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and we were only about 20 minutes to downtown Birmingham. Great little place for a quick get away. Thank you!”

“We enjoyed our stay there. It was very convenient to the Trussville Entertainment District (1.1 mi.) and just off of Hwy 59. There are lots of restaurants and stores nearby. It is pet friendly which was important to us. The loft was as advertised "cozy" and lived up to that as a typical small addition to a historic older house; complete with exposed rafters, a blend of cinder block, brick and sheet rock walls with creative electrical solutions. Learning what switch turned on what was an……

“Loved this little place! It is actually a little bigger than I had imagined as a 2/1 unit. Very nicely decorated. Spotless when we checked in. Easy access provided for door lock right on time as promised. Great water pressure. Enough personal bath stuff on hand to certainly make it through several days. Plenty of towels. Beautiful hardwood floors with strategic rug placement. Very communicative owner. The beds! Oh so soft & cozy. Close to many great local restaurants & bars (if……

“Great place, quiet, and beds are amazing. We had some minor issues with keypad entries, but Jen was so gracious when we called to quickly fix the issue. Would definitely stay here anytime.”

“The host was very accommodating to our requests. Room was great and as described. Quiet setting close to everything. Definitely highly recommend if you are in downtown Birmingham. Close to UAB for convenience.”

“Absolutely amazing communication by the property manager. She was Johnny on the spot and very nice. Highly recommend this place, great little neighborhood with a fire station around the corner.”

“Enjoyed my stay! Host was great”

“Matt was an amazing host, clear and prompt in communications and friendly. The mattresses were new and comfortable! Truly, many places skimp on the quality of the mattress, and this place did not. We had amazing sleep here. The location is central to everything, which is great. Parking can be a little difficult, especially if you're in a truck. If you're looking for location with a well-equipped kitchen and good beds, this is the place to stay! ”

“I cannot wait to stay at this property again. The host gave precise instructions which made check in super easy. Location was perfect to restauarants and bars. 10/10!!!!”

“The property was fine. The baseboards were very dusty throughout the apartment but most especially in the bathroom where they were covered in dust and body hair. There were no towels to be found in the bathroom. I eventually found them in the dryer. The address given could specify the apartment number also. I feel like a had to do lots of communication (which was very easy and effective) with the owner to get the info I needed to check in.”

“Very comfortable, clean, modern, easy check in, very convenient parking. Excellent communication with the host.”

“A beautiful, secure spot in a great location. Everything was clean, well decorated, comfy. The light and airy feeling of the tall ceilings and large windows. The king bed was comfortable and dressed with quality linens with matter a lot. Would love to stay here again. This is the second property we’ve stayed with Porchlit and it has been a smooth and easy stay at a great value for the money without compromising quality. Can’t say enough nice things about this rental company, and that’s rare. ……

“The location was perfect! It was our home base for about 3 weeks while we searched for a new home in the area. It is also close to all 3 covered bridges, which are awesome! Daniel, the host, was easy to reach and quick with a response every time! Thanks again!”

“We booked this apartment for one night because it was close to Avondale Brewing where Willie Nelson was playing and it was perfection. The cleanliness and the decor were wonderful and check-in was a breeze. My husband and I cannot recommend this place highly enough as we are already planning our next stay!”

“súper beautiful place, great location.”

“Host Was Amazing and Property Was Very Clean!”

“Absolutely fantastic stay. We were trying to decide whether we wanted a cabin in the woods or a place in the city. This is a little bit of both; in the city but as quiet as being in the woods. A 5 minute drive down the mountain to all the best restaurants. A shout out to Bamboo on 2nd for the best sushi in town. I grew up in Birmingham so I’m very familiar with the area. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and safe. The accommodations are top of the line. I have not slept so well in a long time.……
