「My daughter and I stayed here because we were in town for The Mud Girl Run. The house had all the basics that we needed. Communication with Earl, the host, was phenomenal. We stupidly locked ourselves out of the house while exploring the property and Earl spoke to us on the ring camera and helped us get in. 「The place was super cute and had all the amenities we were looking for. I would recommend a better cleaning service. The stove had a spray all over that that seems like it was forgotten to be taken off. And the fridge smelled very bad. 「This is the second stay for my family at Brookside. What we enjoy most is having access to 370+ acres which includes fish ponds and paths for meandering. There's a nearby stream and waterfall to explore, plus easy access to the D&L trail for walking or biking. Also, Hickory Run State Park is close by for hiking. 「Great house! Tons of room on 3 different levels so our large family could spread out. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised that there are 2 full refrigerators, 2 stoves and 3 ovens.
