“Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming,……

“I recommend that guests double-check and confirm with the front desk whether their deposit will be refunded automatically or if they need to swipe their card in person. I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas.”

“Room was ok. Shower base was spinning. Water pressure not that great. Shower head was fixed couldn’t bring down. Nothing too crazy. No sauna no hot tub just a pool. Breakfast was better than most. Staff was friendly and it was clean. Don’t think it’s worth the price. Making rooms over 300 per night isn’t worth it. Very over priced especially up there.”

“This was the best motor inn I’ve ever stayed. Spacious and clean, checkin was fast and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so many varieties of food, fresh cereals, muffins and bananas. Close to Bracebridge town and Muskoka Lake. ”
