「The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was fine - a really good room foe the price, however, will warn - the walls are thin and the traffic can be loud! That said - wow, the price of this place + the view from the front door alone being right on lake superior is so hard to beat. There is also a really really nice gas station within a 2 minute walk of this place to get anything you could need in terms of a quick bite to eat, and Ashland is an absolute treat to explore! I would stay here...

「Beautiful location within easy 5-10 minute walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Madeline Island. We were there for peak fall leaves color. The view of the lake, the island, the small marina, the trees, and the sunrise from the cozy furniture on the deck outside our door was amazing. It is a motel, so there is the potential for noise from the vehicles that park outside the rooms, but it was a non-issue. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and perfect.」
