The property is very well located for walking to different neighborhoods. The staff in general is very friendly. Perhaps it would be good to do a better cleaning in hallways and elevator area. Also ask the housekeeping staff to perform their duties without making so much noise. Overall, I would stay with you again.

this was by far the worst experience i have ever had staying in a hotel. Staff was unorganized. Valet only had one person working which we had to chase him around to get our vehicle when we arrived. The lobby was discombobulated with many people no one knew what was going on or what they were doing. I will never stay here again.

Property has gotten a bit run down since the last time we stayed there a few years ago. Couch in room was dirty. Walls dirty. Blinds had food on them. No fan in bathroom. Construction work outside at 5:30am! Homeless people. A bit disapointing since we have family in DC and used to recommend this hotel for people to stay there.

Expedia said that the pool was open in april, but it wasn't (opening was schedule for Memorial day, so end of May). Breakfast is good and plentyful. Transportation and commute to center and other interesting areas of DC is easy.

Staff was very personable on arrival and departure and for any of our requests during our stay (ie. extra towels as we were four to the room and a quick plumbing repair in early am hours. The engineer was there in less than five minutes and finished with changing a plumbing connection in less than fifteen. Hotel was very quiet, beds were comfortable. Slept well as though we were the only ones in residence. Big surprise in morning when we found the breakfast and lounge area full with happy touring families and groups like ourselves. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and well-prepared. Coffee was a bit strong, but tea and juices made up for that. Service staff in this area was also very friendly. A total good experience. Thank you Hyatt Place.

Arrived almost 7 pm traveling all day to arrive at the hotel to be informed our room wasn’t ready. We waiting another 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Also no parking. You can do valet parking for $55 per night. Also the rug in the room has stains.

Creo que la limpieza de la habitacion fue lo terrible del hotel, reserve habitacion con cama King con sofa cama para mi hijo pero al momento de preparar el sofa cama todo estaba muy sucio que tuve que hacerle dormir sobre del sofa. El baño tenia el jabon usado de los huespedes del dia anterior, papel tirado del jabon y el lavamanos sucio. Me acerque a información y le indique la foto que habia tomado y supuestamente iban a limpiar, No habia agua caliente en la noche para bañarnos. No me gustó

The property was booked to capacity. There was no pillows available for the pull out couch. The window blinds were broken and the light blocking curtain was removed. The A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night and the room was very warm. The shower water pressure was very intense and uncomfortable to shower.

This was the worst experience I have had at a Hyatt property. The customer service was almost non existent. The rates charged were not accurate and the staff was unable and incapable of rectifying the errors. I would never staff at this hotel.

We arrived early in the morning and were checked in by a very rude girl at the front desk. She did not advise us that there was an early check in fee of $100 but instead just gave us our keys and said our rooms were ready. There was also a problem with the nightly rate because our rate was different than that of the rate she saw on her screen. She was not helpful and said there was nothing she could do about it. We later found out about the early check in fee but it was too late since we had already checked in. We also had a problem with a homeless man chasing us from the front entrance of the hotel and we had to run down the block to get away from him. The area is very dangerous and we did not feel safe! There were many other issues with our room rates and getting charged the wrong fees and extra fees for our rooms. There were four rooms in our group. Will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

The hotel was amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was incredible. We were in town for a birthday party and they did an amazing job of pointing us in the direction of places that were right in walking distance for eating. I will be looking to stay again next time I am in DC.

If you go to Washington DC do not stay at this hotel the people at the front desk are rude and have no education at all the place is dirty and the service is bad
