We paid extra for an upgraded, bigger room in the hopes that it would be more comfortable and less noisy, but they put us on the side of the hotel facing the street, and the nightclubs next door were full of loud, noisy music and people until 3 am. We did not get a good night’s sleep, and feel we paid far too much for an exhausting night.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. They have a popular restaurant on site and a very nice roof top bar. The hotel is gorgeous and rooms are very chic and cozy. Most bars are walkable from this location too. Johnny helped check us in and was incredibly kind and created such a memorable experience for us. I have already recommended this hotel to others and will definitely stay again.

Hotel in very nice and super clean, you just can't expect to sleep there. Noisiest hotel on the planet! Wanted to love it , but the clubs and bars in the area attract a drunken crowd of disgusting and inappropriately loud partyiers. It is so loud, the room vibration is in synch with the rooftop club, and the pilice and drunks out front will keep you up past 2am closing. Never, ever, again! 2 stays, both the same!

We had a terrible experience at this property. The view from our room was the wall of the adjacent building about a foot away. The view out the other window was bunch of mechanical equipment/rubbish between the back of several buildings. The room was so small we were not able to fully open the closet door (it was too close to the bed). Our daughter was the first to take a shower and ran out of hot water after 5 mins. My husband and I went without a shower after a long travel day. Since it was already 10:30 pm, we decided to just wait until the next morning, when we were told we could get a different room. The worst part of our stay was the booming/vibrating music from rooftop bar/restaurant. The front desk had told us they would “be done soon” when we called about the hot water around 10:30 pm. The music continued until 3:00 a.m. We got very little sleep. The next morning, I went to the front desk to get a new room. A different person was on duty and told me there was only one other room available with 2 queen beds (the entire hotel only had 5 rooms with 2 queen beds) and I was warned the view would be even worse. I was more concerned about the noise from the rooftop bar and would have settled with the bad view, but I was told there’s no guarantee the music from the rooftop bar would be any less noisy in the new room. The bar operates 5 days a week, and we had booked a 6-night stay. We decided to leave and go to another hotel after staying only one night.

The room was small and limited in space to move around. Staff were easy to talk to and receive support. Overall, the location provided many options for walking to historic locations or to take a short uber drive to the Capital, White House or many other areas of interest.

A hotel this expensive should be able to provide hot water! Building was very clean, but is apparently attached to a night club that reverberates through the building all night long, until around 3am. Good Luck Sleeping! A shame because the hotel itself is very nice.
