Southeast hotels in Washington

"The hotel was very nice and clean. There are some signs of slight age but most hotels do. Overall the hotel looks modern and definitely clean. The staff were all nice and took care of us from the moment we stepped in the front desk area. Room was great, clean, neat, and comfortable, water pressure was perfect as well. Location is close to lots of restaurant choices, places to drink, two stadiums, and the metro station. "

"I booked a one-bedroom suite for my stay. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room and only realized after unpacking that it was not a one-bedroom suite but a standard room. I went to the front desk because the phone in the room wasn’t working, and I mentioned the issue with the room type. I was told that because it was late at night and the hotel was at capacity, they were unable to move me to the room I had booked. The next day I returned to the front desk and was told they would credit my amenity fees. However, this didn’t feel like an appropriate resolution since I had paid for a one-bedroom suite and did not receive it. Eventually, a manager contacted me and offered to refund half of the night I spent in the incorrect room and move me to a different room (Room 218). Unfortunately, the cover on the fob reader for that door was broken when I arrived, although it was still functioning at the time. The following day, about an hour before my meetings started, I was locked out of my room because the fob reader stopped working. Beyond that, the TV in the bedroom wasn't working, the phones in the rooms don't work, and they don't have smartTVS. I do want to note that the staff was friendly and helpful throughout these issues. However, the rooms appear to be in serious need of updates, and the price of the hotel does not reflect the overall quality or condition of the rooms."

"Great place to stay .. very close to lots of local places and things to do . Would stay here again .. only one elevator working while I was there but other than that enjoyed my stay "

"We had the pleasure of staying here after scrambling to try to get home during the recent winter storm. Although an unplanned and unexpected stay, we were truly pleased with our visit to DC and the hotel. Many kind people in Washington and two of the workers at the hotel stood out as so very memorable and helpful. Thanks to Bobby the manager for everything he did to make our stay wonderful. Thanks to Christian for patiently dealing with us and assisting when issues arose and plans had to be modified."

"This is the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. I ended up using the in-suite washer and dryer because of the workouts. (They have two stair climbers, one that also works arms.) It was really nice to come home and not do laundry."

"We had a wonderful stay at the carriage house. The property was exactly as listed and in pristine condition. The hosts truly thought of everything to make it feel like a home away from home. From the thoughtful touches throughout the space to the overall comfort, it exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly responsive, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place or better hosts and would absolutely stay here again."

"Pros: Great location. Good night’s sleep. Cons (no pun intended) Grabbed one bottle of water from my room because I was in a hurry. $9 plus tax. Overnight parking $75. Plan accordingly."
