Fun and unusual stay near DuPont Circle! This Historic Inn has rooms tucked away upstairs from the Restaurant. Mine faced the quiet courtyard, and was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were outstanding! Friendly, problem-solving, and made my stay smooth and memorable. The restaurant was lovely and service was excellent, with one hiccup when the kitchen was overwhelmed by an unexpected large group from another hotel. I would definitely stay here again, and happily recommend for anyone… great location, room, atmosphere, and people.

If you're looking for modem amenities here's a newsflash there are no eno elevators no electronic key cards you get a key with your room number attached to a wooden block no television. This hotel harkens back to a simpler time which adds to the c harm of this jewel of a hotel

The Tabard Inn is beautiful and historic, but it can be inconvenient to stay in for long durations. It doesn't have a mini-fridge or WIFI conducive for work. The staff is polite and helpful, the cleaning is efficient. However, we also had a couple of issues with the AC not working effectively in our room for a night in a 7-night stay duration.

Charming, cozy and unique. Nice ambiance and antiques. Brunch on the outdoor courtyard patio a highlight. Staff was great.Be forewarned modern people....in the rooms there are no TVs, no microwaves, no mini fridges and no coffee makers. But beautiful Oriental rugs and delicious bottled water. No elevators either, so climbing some of the narrow, steep stairs can be a little tricky. And no ice machine, but bar staff will give you ice.

An old inn with a lot of character and a large lounge and restaurant with a club like and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was good and a nice touch to provide a $10 voucher towards breakfast or lunch and free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The shower had poor water pressure and the small hallway restroom was stuffy with a bit of an odor. Overall a nice but old inn with a good location if you want or need to be in that part of DC.

It is a lovely and clean older building which is nicely maintained. Interesting art is everywhere including the bedroom. We had a nice clean room with no tv and a window unit air conditioner, which for us was fine. It was a walk up and one of the nice young men took my suitcase up to the second floor. The dining room is beautiful with excellent service and the food is wonderful. The Inn is near DuPont Circle.

We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again on a future trip. The space is so unique and fun, the staff is very nice, the room is spacious and comfortable. Very unusually we had both dinner and brunch in the hotel which were both delicious (best donut I ever had).
