“For those tourists looking for lobby lounge, bountiful breakfast buffets, and many staff looking after you , this is not your choice of stay. Bukhara is a well preserved city over 2000 years with the same layout, not multi-lane ,statue and fountain, metropolis. You don’t want large hotels in a city like this unlike Samarkand, which has a different history of the city. This is a family run boutique B & B in its 4th generation in a hidden side street right in the center (plaza) of town. Breakfast……

“We were a booking of three women travelling independently from the UK. Hotel Iman was a great choice: clean, comfortable and a great location in Bukhara. Staff were welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional compared to other hotels we stayed at in Uzbekistan and we really recommend Hotel Iman for a great stay.”

“I tried to check in and then the staff there explained that cannot give room to me since there is someone very sick stayed at my room and they couldn’t check out. The situation last until 6pm for the day of my check-in. I am not sure if it is just an excuse to sell my booking to another hotel. Besides, please send your guest to hospital if he is so sick ”

“The friendly English-speaking staff at this family-owned hotel were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is just steps away from the historic city center - perfect for sight-seeing and shopping for local crafts. The hotel was quiet and very clean. I appreciated the mini-fridge and coffee/tea pot and good WiFi. The hotel’s rooftop terrace has a stunning view of the city’s historic architecture. I went up to take photos multiple times. The breakfast included seasonal fruits, bread, egg, breakfast……
