「We booked a two-night stay beginning September 25, 2026, at Ocgrow Reserve in Cochrane for an out-of-town family member. Based on our experience, the condition of the accommodation fell far below what we expected from a property advertised as offering a luxury experience. 「The property is SO nice and clean. It is a new home and in a new community so close to downtown and not too far away from the mountains. We had everything we needed at the house to be comfortable over the weekend. It was a great spot to stay during the Ironman race weekend! If you are sensitive to light, bring an eyemask. The curtains are so nice but not blackout and it stays light until very late in the Summer!」

「DON'T DO IT. This is a very small apartment that is under construction. The heater did not work. The smoke alarms were disabled. Drywall dust was everywhere. Both my Wife and I have sore throats from breathing the drywall dust, Pubic hairs in the shower. Glass doors without any coverings. I can go on but you get the picture. 「Property was immaculate, cozy, and relaxing, surpassing our expectations. Host was friendly and accommodating, with treats provided to welcome us upon arrival. Aptly called The Foothills Gallery House as the artwork was outstanding. Plenty of room for 3 to 6 adults or a family, with room to spread out over two sitting areas. Kitchen was very well equipped. 「He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs.
