“The property grounds were lovely and the view from our deck was spectacular! The details in the cabin were really convenient- lots of hooks and surfaces for belongings, kitchen supplies, outlets and usb ports. For a tiny house, it had a lot of space! It was about 25 minutes to Stowe, which was a pretty easy drive. ”

“The house was clean and had plenty of space with good views. The road definitely has a steep incline but is easily manageable in summer and the house was close to everything we needed. ”

“Comfortable stay. Kitchen was equipped for basic cooking. Everything was as advertised except we didn’t find a toaster and apple screen mirroring to the TV couldn’t connect. Good all weather tires were needed to access with snow on the roads getting to the cabin. Also we found no AT&T cell service at the cabin but good WiFi once inside. Be sure you have a copy of your reservation you can access with no cell or have a hard copy of your reservation with the key code. Would be helpful to know……

“The property had plenty of space for our group. I would suggest some steps be put in and some more care be spent on snow removal but we had fun sliding downhill to the entrance.”

“Loved the spaciousness of the rooms, the back deck, that each bedroom had its own sink, the beautiful trees out back, that the main room had two exit options, there were enough dishes to fill up the dish washer. The washing machine broke while we were there and the owner replaced it the very next day - very responsive and apologetic!Would love to have a family reunion here”

“The Sugar Shack was a cozy, warm, and beautiful stay. My wife and I enjoyed our time in the Northern Kingdom and having this little slice of heaven to come back to in the evenings was perfect. The house was clean, check-in and check-out was as smooth as it could be. The host is very attentive and quick to respond to any and all questions. I would gladly stay here again. ”
