  • If you love Indian Creek and Cotile Lake but without all the people this Oasis is perfect for you. Sitting on a 30 acre Lake with 69 acres of Nature trails lush with wildlife. Relax, Hike, fish, canoe and more. New Mobile Home sitting on 69 acres in the woods overlooking a 30 acre lake. Roods Ranch will be your Weekend Escape for Relaxation and Peace. Large screen porch for family hang outs or firepit fun with the kids. Only 25 minutes to Alexandria for shopping,dining, The local zoo, movies and more. Fishing is approved but please NO hunting allowed. This listing was with another manager and we just took it over.

Our crew was very comfortable, and Patti is a fantastic host. Communicates well and is very accommodating.The crew enjoyed it so well they are staying there another month.

Submerge in nature

We enjoyed being in the middle of nature, right next to a pond, that is connected to Rodemacher Lake. In the evening and night the frogs were singing their orchestra, and you wake up with birds singing. If you like this, then this is your place. If you don't like bugs, then this might be challenging. The cabin is equipped with all you need. It is a little outdated, but that fits the location.
