“Clean and cosy. The pictures do not do it justice, the pictures on the listing show it as a disjointed space but infact it is this beautiful little spot that was the embodiment of relaxation. The cabin was fantastic for our overnight stay. If you are on the fence just book it, you will thank yourself later.”

“Highly recommend Channel Cabin if you are planning a day trip to Bruny Island. It is just a short drive away from the ferry in Kettering. The boat cruise from Adventure Bay was the highlight of our trip!The cabin was very clean and cosy. The heat pump was sufficient to heat the whole cabin. The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated having the air fryer and coffee pod machine. Views of the surrounding are beautiful and can enjoyed from the perfectly placed sun room/verandah. Also, we enjoyed great views of a wandering echidna from the verandah. “The hosts were great with communication and on arrival the lights were on and the slow combustion fire was going. The bus was quirky and fun, beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. Fantastic views and outlook. The bus’s immediate surrounds were a bit lack lustre, but as we were only here for one night it didn’t really matter. We couldn’t work out the lights over the kitchen area, so it was a bit dim. Might just be our lack of tech savviness.A……

“The perfect spot to get away from it all, light the fire and watch the weather (which changes all the time on Bruny). Bring everything with you, as there are limited supplies on the island. The house is thoughtfully designed around the water views and to catch the afternoon sun. We were happy to stay put, cook, and rest. It's a very calming place.”
