Washington Waterside Park Hotels

"There was construction taking place on the floor below us while we were there. As a result during the day, we were constantly hearing a Jack hammering sound. As part of the construction, the water was shut off on our floor between 10 AM and 4 PM the last day of our stay. Also, there is no restaurant in the hotel. The only restaurant nearby is a fast food place next-door that serves hamburgers, hotdogs and pizza. No restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel that we could find."

"Excellent bar area, rooms exceptionally clean, staff very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was when I booked through Expedia, it said free breakfast...but the breakfast is not free!"

"Room had mold cracks and bubbles in ceiling carpets were gross and baggage staff and carts were totally unavailable at check in no doorman this hotel has gone way down in quality I’ve been staying here since 2016 will never go back after this past stay. "

"This hotel is in a great location and it is nicely appointed. As with most hotels I visit, the bathroom is indicative of the care and attention staff and ownership give and, almost without fail, there are shortcomings in the caulking either around the sink or the tub. Sometimes both. The beauty of the countertop in this bathroom does not overcome the ugliness of the caulk around the sink. It looks and feels unclean. I also fail to understand why the more expensive hotels do not provide a hot breakfast like Comfort Suites and similar hotels. Such a hotel as this Holiday Inn charges more and provides less. A room is a room and I found very little to recommend this room over many Comfort Suites I have stayed in. The biggest improvement over a Comfort Suites was an appropriate step up in security; as is needed for a downtown hotel."

"Initially placed in a room that had guests!!Then placed in one with less accommodation for my guests...Reminded asst manager that l had booked 2 queen size beds ...her answer is we don't have that, ck with yr third party carrier!!...later texted me while l was out to dinner and said she had one for me, and would offer me a bottle of champagne to compensate for a bad start to my birthday celebration... so it was a sour sweet experience! "
