“The hotel was ok. Fairly clean, meaning there were were places around the property that could use some TLC. The carpet in the stairwell had the same dried mud crumbled on it for each of the 4 days we were there, our bedside table was falling apart and the emergency cover in the elevator kept falling off and was just wedged into the opening. “Residence Inn was clean, smelled nice, had great amenities and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast each morning is a nice bonus. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The suite was clean, spacious, comfortable and everything we needed. There was a full kitchen (except there is no oven) that was perfect for our stay. We had groceries delivered from the local Walmart to be able to eat in a few times. Our family of 4 found this location, hotel, and Waterpark exactly what we needed for our……

“When we check-in the first day the front desk was really helpful. But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel is about the breakfast, staff and the room. First, the breakfast the food and the coffee run out we went to tell the person that the food is out. She roll her eye at us and look us from the top to bottom. And the reason why I said “we” is cuz is not just me that went to tell the person in the kitchen to fill more food. There’s couple of people that went to tell them. When we went there, we saw……

“I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look……

“When we got to our room, it wasn’t cleaned so we notified the desk and they gave us another room right away and she apologized a couple of times. One person was rude but everyone else was very nice and polite. There is a lovely park near by and an easy walk to downtown. I will be going there again.”

“There was hair in bed when comforter pulled down. The bathroom amenities were empty - no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. I spoke to staff and they said they weren’t able to “compensate” me or give a discount because room was booked on Expedia.”
