“Could have been cleaner and had ants in kitchen, plus one shower drain was clogged that we fixed. Not bad place. Good location/proximity to beach! Multiple decks and hot tub were nice for enjoying outdoors!”

“Beautiful place, lots of room & nice yard, would be better if it was completely fenced as it is borders 2 streets. Beach access not suitable for anyone with disabilities. We however loved the home. Off season restaurant availability limited.”

“How was amazing and had all the space amenities our family and three kids could ask for. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals. Beach access was perfect and the view from the balcony was amazing for morning coffee. We loved the library and enjoyed looking at the many photo albums of the house throughout the years. Would definitely stay again”

“Appeared clean but needs a visit from the exterminator. First night killed a roach and six or seven spiders. Needs a handyman visit as well (torn screens on doors, loose railings on decks, loose interior stair railings) and an outside cleaning generally from past guests that left empty beer cans and trash”

“This property on a positive note had enough room for everybody but hasn’t been maintained over the years at a standard that should’ve been maintained for today’s travelers. The decorations were not nice the furniture and surfaces were all old the beds were small and uncomfortable and old. We really felt like it was something we would not be paying top dollar for. To be honest this place is Livermore from not bring a smile to your face”

“Great location and home. Was a great place for our family of 8. Was disappointed because the hot tub was not working and we only had 7 towels for 8 people so we had to wash a lot and go buy some to use . Overall great home and location.”

“Very clean with some maintenance issues. The dryer did not work, sliding door locks did not work on any of the doors. Piece of ceiling was falling in one of the bedrooms. The worst part was the dryer did not work though. Overall a nice house.”

“The house is advertised as the best handicapped house in the OBX. We concur this is absolutely correct. The ramp up to the main living floor was very convenient for unloading your vehicle. Everything on the main living floor was accessible including the dock. The location is next to Hatteras Watersports where jet skis and kayaks were available for rent - very convenient! The owners were very responsive to any needs/concerns. For sure, the house rates a 5 star! We look forward to going back!”

“Property was as advertised. Dining table is a pool table. Flip over top and can play table tennis. Only aspect not appreciated was toilet in Master bedroom has no door. But we knew this going in and managed just fine with the floor plan.”
