「This smaller-scale hotel had charm and character that seemed lacking in some of the large hotel chains in Charlotte. We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious. Staff was helpful. Hotel was in a convenient location. Restaurant didn't seem fully open and active while we were there, but there were other places to eat nearby. 」

「Very disappointing experience. At the time of check-in, I was informed at the last minute that the property was under renovation — no TV, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast, NO drinking water and unbelievably, not even basic toiletries! There was limited toilet paper, only two lamps were working, and there was a strong foul smell and constant noise outside the room, including dogs barking next door. To make things worse, I even spotted bugs on the bed. Absolutely horrible! My biggest question — why wasn’t...

「Everything about our stay at the Duke Mansion was wonderful. Talk about Southern hospitality! We felt welcomed with the spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff and beautiful gardens. A plus was that we could easily walk to many different restaurants. I highly recommend staying here when traveling to Charlotte.」
