Cozy and quaint

Plain and simple hotel room, it was comfortable and cozy. Just what we needed for our visit. The Continental breakfast was excellent - the grits were a big highlight for me! The staff was very kind and informative.

Great staff. No pool

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool being down was the worst part for us, so we only stayed one night and moved along.

The property is ls in a good location, the grounds are in need of much repair, fences around the side of the property are falling , the pool area is not usable at it stands, the building is an old Jamison Inn , needs a roof.

Pros and Cons

Shower was difficult getting in and out of. Nothing to grab onto. Bed was uncomfortable. Furniture old and worn. Room was somewhat clean. Breakfast was good. The lady at checkin was friendly. Great location. Not sure would stay here again.

The custodian was friendly and helpful and she greeted with a smile!!!! The breakfast was delicious and had great options as a continental breakfast!!! My booking was do online but staff had a little trouble finding it but once checked in our room was clean, bed were comfortable but the light in our bathroom didn’t work, since it was after midnight when we checked in we didn’t push the issue because we just needed somewhere to lay our heads for a few hours and waited til morning to get the issue resolved. Our overall experience was good!!!

We were looking for a clean bed and a shower during a road trip. The price was right and facilities were adequate. The night clerk was very nice and let us look at the room before we committed. There was a chair in the room with gross stains which we did not use. The bed was clean and comfortable . The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was not good but we didn’t choose the place for the food. Overall it was fine for our purposes.

Staff members were very friendly and helpful, and bed was fairly comfortable. OK area. BUT, the hanger bracket was broken on the floor, along with the hangers, no ice bucket, no shelf in shower - we had to put our soap and shampoo on the floor. But the shower tile was gorgeous!

We stayed two day one week & came back for one day the following week. First stay was great & staff very nice. Second stay, there were bugs in my shower & bed. The peephole & lock were damaged. The manage said she was going off shift & next manager wouldn't do anything--he locked the hotel lobby door. The next day I told lady at desk & sent pictures to her phone & she said she would have owner contact me. He didn't; so I called today & he said he'd refund money next week. Very horrible way to treat anyone. We ended up having to go to Hampton Inn that night.
