Wonderful Location

This property is right on the river. It has a nice covered deck to enjoy the view of the river, or you can take in the view from the bay window's in the bedroom. Quiet neighborhood and very private accommodations. Will stay again.

Father/Daughter Ski Trip

This was an excellent spot for two adults seeking a stay near Mt. Hood. The location was convenient, and the condo was ideal. We particularly enjoyed the porch with its picturesque river view and the cozy fireplace.

Great place

We loved being close to the action without being in the middle of it. We hiked and ate our way through the three days spent there. Great for just the two of us.

Don’t hesitate, book this place!

Super place to stay, great location on the Salmon River, wake up to hearing the river gurgling, very comfortable accommodations which met our every possible need, great outdoor deck to enjoy the natural environment, close to a market and super restaurants (check out the Thai and Mexican restaurants about a mile away). Hiking was incredible with our favorite trails being Tamanawasa falls, Trillium Lake (go to the far end for the best mirror image on the water), little zigzag falls, Ramona falls. Absolutely an unexpected delightful stay and vacation!

First time in Welches

Our family, which includes 2 small children booked this place so we can step out of our room and go fishing. The room was great, and it was easy to check in. Location was great as it was next to the Salmon River and close to Mt. Hood. The major issue is one of the HOA neighbors who was very rude to me while I was fishing. He said that fishing in not allowed here, and they used to have metal signs up, but it's not up anymore. He also said this is for HOA members who pay into it, and I mentioned we are renting a room for the night. He insisted that I walk 10 minutes to go fishing at another location and watched me walk back to the room. I spoke with a neighbor shortly after, and he stated that he fishes here all the time, that he saw other people fly fishing before and that ODFW confirmed that fishing is allowed there. We reported this neighbor to VRBO and Vacasa, but was told they can't control what the neighbors say or do. That is true but just watch out for rude neighbors not liking outsiders. I won't be staying in Welches anymore.
