Lovely spacious room with a wonderful view, pool clean and in a lovely spot, breakfast plentiful and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - would stay again for sure.

The location of the hotel is very good and close to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is in walking distance or short tuktuk ride. Had an amazing time there and Will surely come back.

This is an amazing resort with amazing ambiance and staff, direct access to the beach and a beautiful pool, we had 5 days of heaven in a villa and could not ask for anything better, everyone soo helpful and welcoming, bed super comfortable, food delicious, very central to tuk tuk around to the beaches to explore, great restaurants around and loved every moment there

Amazing hotel just by the beach. Was in doubt between this one and the Marriott but after seeing both would go for this every day. Smaller, quieter, staff is the nicest I’ve seen and always happy to help. Room was just perfect, cleaned every day, AC, sea view and the pool and breakfast area were amazing as well.

Overall a really nice, comfortable place to stay. Wait staff, Marlin, and exec chef were friendly and enjoyed our conversations! Breakfast was good, dinner was good, grounds and pool area very well kept. The superior room was spacious, clean, and loved our balcony. Stayed for 2 nights, ate our meals there, lounged poolside for the day, and just had a fantastic leisurely time, which is all we had on our itinerary for Weligama! Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

The room was Fabulous and location was good but the Rest was much more 3dtar than 4 star . We stayed in 8 hotels in total some 3 Star some 4 star . It compared with the good 3 stars but definitely not the 4 stars Unfortunately.

What a wonderfully hotel. Perfectly situated, right on the beach with a gorgeous pool. All the staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived until we left. Food was excellent and so was the Spa. Highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay 10/10!

Wonderful relaxing stay at the resort. It was a shame we had to leave. Biggest draw back was the oil sludge in the water. Obviously not the resort's fault. Would recommend stay here.

Great Hotel Location with quickest access to Ocean

We were extremely happy to book this hotel for a family stay. Two bedrooms with huge beds, and huge bathroom. Its location is very good. It doesn't matter are you in swimming pool or sunbathing on sunbed, few steps and you are in the ocean. Not high waves (the highest we spot was around 1.5 meters) but kids loved to jump on it. You can rent surfboard or bodyboard on the premises. Staff is polite. Dinner menu was impressive, but we tried it once. As hotel has a great location, we tried almost all on the beach sea food restaurants at Merissa (around 7 minutes from the hotel location by TukTuk). The only issues we had is a closure time of Swimming Pool and SPA - 17:00. At other hotels where we stayed closure time was 20:00. If in future at least swimming pool closure time will be improved I would give this hotel five starts. Definitely will stay in this hotel at our further trip to SL.

De accomodatie is heel netjes en het personeel is erg aardig. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid met warme sri lankaanse gerechten, maar ook vele westerse ontbijtopties. Heerlijk vers fruit. Qua diner zijn er ook veel opties. Uitzicht vanuit het hotelrestaurant is fantastisch. Je zit aan het strand. Mooi zwembad. Kamers zijn groot en worden elke dag goed schoongemaakt. Enige nadeel is dat de WIFI verbinding af en toe wegvalt. De bedden zijn goed, heerlijk geslapen. De airco werkt ook heel goed. Het hotel heeft een eigen spa en tegenover het hotel zit Spa Ceylon waar je ook terecht kunt voor wellness behandelingen. In de buurt van het hotel zitten verschillende restaurants en met een tuk tuk ben je zo in een winkelstraat in Weligama. Let op dat je bij een tuk tuk wel afdingt op de prijs.

Fantastiskt fint hotell med underbar personal fin pool god mat och jättebra service. Enda dåliga är att det byggts ett hotell bevis som hade fläktarna mot vårt rum så det var väldigt bullrigt plus att det hotellet spelade musik hela dagarna som störde lugnet.

Game Over

It is clear they are feeling the pinch from the new Marriott next door, but rather than hold the highest standards for a unique stay, things look in mild despair. The restaurant was abandoned minus one guy behind the bar on the floor. Buffet setup was half thrown around only to find out they have stopped the buffet due to low occupancy - so why not clean it up??? The front desk never answered the phone even though there was no business. & when I asked for a late check out they were more concerned with my having bought the reservation through hotels.com rather than the hotel is ENTIRELY vacant. Why rush me out when they could go out of their way to deliver superb hospitality?
