“We have never had a bad experience here. This is our go to place to stay whenever we visit Shipshiwana. The staff has always been friendly, whatever room we stayed in was always neat, clean, and welcoming. We will be back!”

“Hello, I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to request compensation for the issues we experienced during our recent stay. We were first assigned room 216, and upon entering, we found someone already sleeping inside. This was an uncomfortable and concerning situation, especially since it resulted from being given the wrong room. We were then moved to room 222, which unfortunately had additional problems. The room had a strong humid odor, and there was not enough toilet paper provided. Given the……

“Trash”

“Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.”

“This motel did not live up to its ratings. The check-in person was brusque, bordering on rude. The breakfast area was small, amenities somewhat lacking. While the room was clean, it was not up to expectations. We could hear the voices in the room next door. It was also somewhat weird to have motion-activated overhead lighting.”

“No AC. Not broken,just non-existent. Earwigs over bathroom door, plaster bits on bathroom floor, no toilet paper in room, no chairs at all, two throw pillows as sleeping pillows, nothing larger. Dilapidated building, car got scratched up while there, knocking and loud music until around 4AM. TV went on by itself at around 1AM, 2:37AM, and again around 3:30AM, at which point we unplugged it from the wall. There was a mini fridge and microwave, both unplugged, in the room and water on the……

“It's a Super 8 ;) But for the area, if you want affordable, we have stayed here many times. Always feel safe and the staff is welcoming. It was hard to rate ammenities because there really aren't any other than breakfast. I was shocked to realize they don't even have an elevator. Not that we needed it but still. It is RIGHT next to the Blue Gate for concerts or plays if you are in town. Very pet friendly as well.”
