Thank you for a beautiful "home away from home"

Our family stay was excellent. Only tip I would give is to remind the cleaners to sweep the entry and the stairs leading up to the apartments Our stay was very enjoyable

Its location is good with Countdown supermarket is across the road and Pak & Save is just 10mins walk away. A variety of eateries in the vicinity. The apartment has washing machine & dryer. The beds were abit too soft for my liking. Otherwise is a decently good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay overall, as the accommodation was in a great location — close to amenities, shops, and public transport, which made getting around Wellington very easy. The apartment itself was very spacious, comfortable, and well laid out, making it suitable for a longer stay. However, there were a number of issues that impacted our experience. The kitchen was poorly equipped in terms of basics — there was only one tea towel provided, cleaning supplies were very limited, and we had to purchase our own dishwash liquid & rubbish bags. There was also nowhere clearly designated to put rubbish or recycling, which made managing garbage difficult during our stay. In addition, there was a very loud and unpleasant noise coming from the plumbing whenever the kitchen taps were turned on, which was quite disruptive. Additionally, there were existing damages in the apartment that we were not informed about prior to renting, which was disappointing and caused some concern. With better communication, proper stocking of basic supplies, clear instructions for rubbish disposal, and maintenance addressed, this accommodation has the potential to be much better.

The room was ideal and a good size for a family of 4. We didn’t realise that the only parking available was in the main street of Kilbirnie where it is located. It was a bit noisey at night from the extractor fans from the bar’s kitchen below right outside our window. Apart from that, it all went smoothly. Thanks

Sting winds during our visit, and the big joke where the duct venting went though meant the noise was very loud as the wind blew through it but otherwise we loved the apartment. The surrounding area was a little rough but otherwise it was good

Couldnt believe how much extra was involved to stay here. pre registration before allowed into the building and then how extra fee was taken with the payment through expedia.

Hidden location

Like having 2 bedrooms, kitchen and washer/dryer. Couch in our unit needs repair, although it still was usable. Beware, you need to precheck-in (email will be sent to you) and look for another email with instructions to get into the unit. (Combination lock). There is no sign indicating U suites, so find address. Door is next to a bar.

We stayed in two apartments (two families of 4) for 5 nights. It has all the amenities needed for a short stay, but not for 5 nights. The condition was disappointing, not all surfaces cleaned recently as covered in dust. Apartment 1, Door handle loose in kids room. Remaining arm on couch loose. HWC must have issues as only one person could have a shower then water was cold. Not enough toilet paper (had to get some from apartment 3). Apartment 3, Large noisy fan outside lounge window seemed to go the whole time the pub below was open. Clothes Dryer didn't dry, filters needed cleaned (we tried to clean, but made no difference). Luckily Laundromat next door. Shower leaked water onto floor. No information given on what to do with excess rubbish etc. The only place to park vehicle is 300 metres away, 5 min walk outside Rita Angus Retirement Village. All other nearby free parking was 30 / 60 min.

I would have given this apartment all 5-stars unfortunately the Hot Water Cylinder was leaking all night and is right next to the bedroom - it was like dripping water torture! My family had an early flight to catch and needless to say we were pretty tired arriving at the airport and for the rest of that day. One HWC ruined what is an actually really nice place.

The place was awesome for the kids to have their privacy, the location being opposite a supermarket even better. It was above a pub but you couldn’t hear any noise at all. Amazing

The property was well hidden away from the public but amazingly close to all amenities. Walk to the beach, hire a bike into town, catch a bus on the corner.
