「Thank you for opening up your cottage for our 10 day stay! It was more than we expected! The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! 「My family had an incredible stay at Kevin's cottage on Bear Lake. It was so much fun to use the generously provided kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, canoe, and little motor boat. We made amazing memories together and Kevin's property was the perfect setting for our annual Northern Michigan family trip while visiting my hometown and exploring the region. 「Nice property which was in reasonable walking distance from the pool. Perfect for kids who can sleep on their own in the loft area while the parents are downstairs. The only thing I would say is although AC is listed for this property, it is a window unit for the upstairs loft and not for the rest of the place (assuming it does not cool the entire place). The temps were perfect while we were there so we never needed it but they were approaching high 80s low 90s later in the week. Would...

「Clean and simple. Nice new home in the trees, yes it is in a neighborhood, but it is quiet. Peaceful is what we were looking for and is what we found. You are 20 minutes from everything you could want. Great nursery's in the area. I came home with 3 new plants! We had no reason to reach out to the owner, so cannot comment on that.」

「Very nice home on the water in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax and good centralized location for excursions to Traverse city, dunes and other local areas. Check-in process was simple and good wifi access. Kitchen was well equipped with thoughtful welcome items. Great porches/decks surrounding property with a gas grill to cook out. Only drawback was we did not see a place to rent boats or jetskies on lake. I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation. 」

「Grandparents, Kids and grandkids had a wonderful stay. Plenty of towels, nice sleeping accommodations, well supplied kitchen, great porch, all contributed to making this a memorable week for our family. All though this 85-year-old didn't go to the beach (104 steps down and back) the younger ones went at least daily. The view of Lake Michigan from the platform at the top and porch were the biggest hit for me. Highly recommended. Thanks.」
