“Stayed overnight at Mill Street Suite while exploring Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks. It was a cozy and comfortable experience in an extremely convenient location next to both state parks (just a few miles down the road) and on Mill Street next to several eating and drinking establishments. Went to Bruce and Ollie’s across the street for coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream multiple times during our stay. The suite was well appointed and updated with all the amenities anyone can need. And……

“The place is amazing! Beautiful old home. Very well maintained. Modernized with AC and plenty of outlets. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Perfect bedroom and bathroom layouts. Roku TVs in all bedrooms! We almost never find that!! The owner was very responsive to any question we had. You can tell they have pride of ownership in this place. We didn't get to use the fire pit in the back, but we will next trip. It was an awesome experience. ”

“We had so much fun at this cute and peaceful home! The location was perfect for hiking and exploring the nearby parks. Starved Rock was great but we loved Matthessien State Park. We had everything we needed and our dogs loved the fenced in yard and special treats the owner left, The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay again,”
