“The location couldn’t get any better. Steps from the Main Street of old town St Charles where all the shops and restaurants are. Quiet neighborhood with a walking trail on the water. House is adorable. Lots of places to sleep. The downstairs bed was very comfy. Even the pillows were great! Shuffleboard is a bonus for the kids. Had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. ”

BUT with the old thick brick walls when we shut the door all the noise was muted, not to zero, but low enough that it was no big deal. Bed was comfortable, the place was spotless, you get your own parking spot too. Could not recommend higher! -Matt”

It was a 30 minute drive from everything we wanted to do (from downtown St. Louis activities, to Eureka, to Meramec River adventures) which was perfect! Because it is an older home, expect creaky stairs and smaller spaces. All the furniture was SO COMFORTABLE! The beds, sofa, and chairs were perfect for relaxing. ……
