「It has the sleeping in your mom's basement vibe.
Location is excellent with stores, restaurants, pubs and University energy. Easy and safe walk to train stations and bus stops. Easy for ride shares to locate you.
Staff is offsite but very responsive; they fixed issues within a day. I think they were the most attentive of any of my UK stays. Their help is greatly appreciated.
Roomy is cozy.
Felt safe even returning to location at midnight.

「It’s a very nice place, wonderfully decorated while still retaining the charm of the original property such a the windows. Although that has its downside, as with no double glazing and being next to a busy road, it wasn’t the quietest, but we managed ok.
We had a king room so the bed was lovely and spacious, and was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, but could have done with more surfaces to put things. The shower was also big, but the water pressure could have been a bit better,...

「Clean, well equipped, clearly explained key access. But very bad sound insulation. I could hear the person in the room breathe (not even snore!) as if they were in my room. From the room above, you could also hear every single footstep very loudly. Bring ear plugs!」

「I stayed here for three and it was a terrible experience. This property is poorly maintained and, frankly, a health hazard.
Bed Bug Infestation: The most serious issue was the bed bugs. I was bitten in multiple places throughout my stay. This is completely unacceptable.
Filthy Conditions: The room was covered in dust, the floors were dirty, and the bed sheets provided were stained/soiled. The kitchen, bathroom, and common areas were also in a disgusting state.

「First of all this is not a luxury apartment. The walls were dirty. Needs a repaint in the bathroom. Bed uncomfy and pillows flat. There is also a deposit required which is unnecessary given the state of the apartment. 「The place was easy to find and get into.Outside, you're in Chinatown with plenty of vibe and things to do. Inside, once you get past the scruffy staircase and dodgy lift, the 3rd floor is ok. The room is acceptable, clean, and appointed with fridge, microwave, toaster, cups, and glasses. The bathroom is modern. However, the walls are incrwthin and yiu will hear the noisy neighbours playing music and having a domestic until 1am. After that, the club over the road will be noisy until after 4am....
