Ogemaw Hills and Ambrose Lake trail systems are 1.5 miles down the road. Ride to St Helens, Luzurne, Mio, Roscommon and beyond ! Ride out to the Rose City overlook, and to Kyles Peak for a beautiful view !(both are on YouTube and Google maps). Kayak, canoe, paddle board & fish Ambrose Lake & Horseshoe Lakes for Largemouth Bass, Pike & Blue gills (both lakes have boat ramps and allow motors). Clear Lake is a 171 acre all sports lake 5 minutes up the road, offering Pontoon & kayak rentals and boat launch. Stop in @ the family friendly Clear Lake Bar for excellent food & service, and the Clear Lake party store is right next store, enjoy some hand dipped ice cream ! Hiking, Biking and cross country skiing is 10 minutes down the road @ Ogemaw Hills pathway. Golf the West Branch Country Club and the Dream and the Night mare Golf courses. Down town West Branch is 12 miles, with plenty of resteraunts, bars, wine tasting, party store, shopping, Meijers, Walmart, Aldis, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Autozone, Dollar Tree, bowling, car wash.
