Great experience

The pictures didn’t do this beautiful place justice. The views were beautiful. The home was spacious and cozy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. We greatly enjoyed the fireplace in the living area. The communication was great with the owner Alex. We highly recommend!

Golf Tournament weekend

Six of us women from Vermont golf courses stayed while playing a tournament at Haystack Country Club. The house suited us perfectly. We had some issues with the bathtub plumbing not turning off but we had prompt attention from a service person. The house had a great kitchen and tv to accommodate us.

Great location however the house needs to have a deep clean. The upstairs bathroom had hair and dirt on the baseboards, the shower curtain was dirty, there was hair dangling from the top bed which wasn't occupied, no cleaning supplies, a small sponge which was a 1/4 of a sponge which was obviously cut and the worse was we found a dead mouse in the living room. There also wasn't any shades on any of the bedroom windows and the stairs to the entrance are extremely unsafe. Despite the lack of cleanliness of the house we had a great time hiking and walking in downtown Dover.

Amazing!

My partner and I stayed at the house for a month. We absolutely loved the place and it felt like home. The house is great and set up well and everything was really comfortable. We loved the smaller touches like the big basket of fuzzy blankets. We also fell in love with Dover and Wilmington, we got to explore many different parts of the Valley Trail and lots of local farms. Alex was great and super communicative. We absolutely loved the place and hope to come back. Highly recommend.

Cozy rental

We booked a last minute 2 night stay at this rental. Rental price was very reasonable. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Linens, towels, soaps, dishes, pans, spices, fans, board games, private outdoor grill you name it! The grill propane tank was empty so we contacted the owner. His response was immediate. We were able to purchase a new full tank at a nearby location and the owner refunded us the price of the new tank. Owner was very informative and responsive throughout our stay. This was a hassle free rental. I would love to rent during peak skiing season.

Best host I have had!!

We had an amazing trip, and the host was very responsive and helpful with everything. The house was great, had everything we needed, and the private ski run back to the property was really fun. Highly recommend this property and the best host we have ever had!! Favoriting this place for a future stay!

Nice but

Tenants live below and they smoke outside. It comes in the windows and the wall to wall carpet also adds to the stale cigarettes smell in the house. There are two sliding glass doors that lead to the wrap around deck that have signs saying you cannot use them as the “latches are broken”. So there is potential for a great fresh air vibe in the main room but unfortunately it smells like cigarettes instead. Add 90 degree simmer days to that and it was pretty gross to come home to after a long hot day of activity.
