"We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain...

"Excellent location and property ideally suited for a family stay. Really easy parking options especially in a location that parking is at a premium in busy seasons. Easy walk to the shops and waterfront. Excellent communication prior to and during stay. "

I emailed about this and didn't get a response. I emailed again and they said someone would swap the kettle but they did this while we were out which I don't appreciate as I specifically told them not to enter when we weren't there. "It was a lovely modern property with nice beds and great kitchen. The seating area outside was great. Very central location. Parking is a bit of a pain as the nearby car parks are very expensive (£17/24hr v Swansea which are £5/24hr). No nearby free street parking. Mumbles is a very busy place. If you’re a light sleeper I’d advise earplugs as we found it quite noisy. Excellent communication from host and all in all a great place to stay whilst visiting the area "
