“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. “There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. “Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate.
