“Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation……

“We had a very nice stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable providing much more than a hotel efficiency at a similar price point. It was convenient to New England Rehab where we were visiting my brother. There is a little coffee shop within walking distance where we were able to grab coffee and breakfast sandwiches each morning. The Crooked Mile Coffee House & Cafe. Check in and check out were easy and the owner was very personable. There is ample parking on……

“We were staying here for the sake of being able to see a show at Good Theater. The theater itself ended up being within walking distance, and same for a few different places to eat! This worked out great for our plans :)”

“As expected.”

“Apartment was as described. Clean, walking distort downtown and parks. Enjoyed stay. Easy communication with host. ”

“The host was extremely responsive and very helpful – – we were there for a wedding and the location was walkable to the town and great restaurantsI would highly recommend this property for anyone visit visiting Portland”

“This was a great house in a great location. Everything was within walking distance and the house had everything we needed. The rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds, a desk in every room, and it was completely charming. Ani gave clear instructions for entry and parking. If you’re looking to explore downtown Portland, this is my first choice! Beautiful!”

“A great place to stay while exploring and visiting Portland! Great communication, easy process, and would definitely stay again if we visit Franklin”

“Great property. Cute place. Note that there are very steep steps to get into the place, which is a conveyed attic.”

“Super cute apartment that was perfect for our stay in Portland. It was close to Old Port that had lots of cute shops and restaurants.”

“There is no parking at the apartment. You must find a spot along the road which might not be in front of apartment”

“We loved this place, the location, and the host!”

“We loved staying in Ani’s place, the house was perfect for our girls’ trip - roomy, bright, and comfortable, with the most beautiful garden. The location is great - so many cute shops and good restaurants within walking distance and close to the water as well. We had great weather - Maine in the summer is pure magic. Would 100% stay here again!”

“The place perfect for the price. Great location if you’re looking to walk to the city’s beach. A little far from downtown, but if you are okay with walking it’s good for getting your steps in. We went to VRBO hosts suggested lobster roll place - j’s oyster house. 9/10. And holy donut 9/10!!! Great recommendation! Also reccomend post dinner drinks at porthole for good drinks and live music and coastal creamery for good ice cream! Went to double great coffee in the morning which was only a 5 min……

“Words cannot express how great this place is. Clean. Plenty of room. Great towels. Well stocked kitchen items. A huge bonus: real coffee and a coffee maker (not a Kurieg). Large living room. Comfortable beds. Night lights. All the little things that provide creature comforts. Parking was a little tricky but I got extremely detailed instructions so it was not a problem. ”

“Location was convenient to everything and building was super secure.”
