"We spent the weekend with friends and family at this amazing house! We have stayed at several VRBO's and this one was probably the best. From the clean and stocked house to the amazing sheets and towels that everyone took pictures of the tag so we could go home and order for our homes. The owner was easy and prompt with responses and incredibly friendly. The grounds are kept up and beautiful. Our kids enjoyed playing sports in the grass and the playground. We cooked out both nights using the multiple outdoor cooking areas. Its such an amazing home that we hope to stay again at soon. "

"HIDDEN GEM!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect and has a great warm and inviting feel. With so many options, you really have no choice but to relax, either on the porch, in the grotto, the seating area, hammock or by the fire. You are very secluded and unplugged, but there's still a lot to do within a 10 to 15 minute drive. We visited Hamilton pool preserve, swam in the collaped grotto and hiked to the river. On another day, we went to Reimer's park and hiked the Canyon trail (A MUST!), River trail and the Back door trail(also a must). The River trail has NO SHADE, I would do that one in the early or late part of the day. The sun is brutal from 11am-3pm. There's a cool food truck park not far and another gathering area with what looked like a few stores, a coffe spot and food trucks, we just didn't have time to go. Definitely check out the Texas Gadget Store on your way in or out. The host were amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be back to this cabin. "

"It was wonderful! Our host Jennifer was great and very responsive to our needs and questions. Their place was beautiful, roomy it made us feel at home. Jennifer provided us with many wonderful and unexpected treats and gifts. We have never had a more enjoyable stay. We wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Jennifer and her place!! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"The cabin was super cute. The hiking around the area was great. There were some eating places within 20 minutes close by, but we brought food and just cooked on site. The Boyds(the owners) were super nice and very helpful. Internet worked great. The beds were very comfortable. We had 5 people and were very comfortable with a place for everyone to sleep. Everything was very clean. My favorite part might have been the many hummingbirds coming to the porch for their daily sustenance. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, hill country stay close to many state parks. "

"The house and property was beautiful. We had pretty much all the amenities we needed during our stay. The driveway to the house was very difficult to maneuver due to the uneven gravel, and there were a lot of flies and gnats in the house. Otherwise, no complaints! The property manager was very communicative and helpful during our stay. "

"This was a great little home for the 3 night stay we had. Best for only 2 to 4 people. Only my husband and I stayed the nights, but my daughter and her husband visited and one of the nights they cooked dinner for us there. It was a little challenging due to the small kitchen, dining, living area but we made it work. The kitchen is well stocked to serve at least 4 people and has all the necessary appliances. We didn't use the stackable washer/dryer, but it is a convenient amenity if needed.The bed mattresses are all firm, just the way we like them. We didn't stay in the twin/trundle, but did lay on it to see the mattress firmness and they were more firm than the king size bed mattress upstairs. We slept VERY comfortably, even through the bed frame sways quite a bit with the slightest movement. It didn't bother us though. We felt a little like we were on a boat. HaHa! The RV park where it is located is kept so nice and clean. The pool area, recreation barn and small store are great. We didn't use the pool since it was chilly outside, but it is very clean and has plenty of lounge chairs. The fire pit behind the cabin is also nice. The location is away from the major nearby cities, but close enough to drive to any of them within 20 minutes. It is also just down the road from Hamilton pool park and other parks. The property manager, Norma, was a delight to talk to and made sure we knew that she was available if we needed anything at all.We would definitley stay again! "
