Short 1 Mile walk to the closest beach (Weekapaug). You Our beach pass is for Wuskenau beach which is 2 miles away. Wuskenau beach is located right next to Misquamicut state beach. Fully furnished New England style cottage. Living room with 1 full-size couch and a chair. Eat-in kitchen seats 4 comfortably. Outdoor table seats 6 comfortably. Additional fold up table and 4 additional fold-up chairs provided. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed; Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed. A queen size inflatable mattress is provided. House has 3 window air conditioners and for heat, it has steam radiators. Sheets, comforters, pillows, and towels are provided. 1 full bathroom with shower. Large washer & dryer, 50-inch HDTV flat screen with local TV channels and Apple TV, Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps Internet, large microwave, full-size stove, full-size fridge, 12 cup coffee maker. Dining ware, pots & pans provided. Outdoor fire pit (firewood not provided). Winnapaug Country Club (public golf course) 1 mile away. Very large yard with outdoor table and table umbrella, great for outdoor BBQ (charcoal grill provided). Quiet neighborhood. This property is central to beaches and shopping. The property is comfortable for families with children. House has tile and hardwood floors throughout. Check out downtown Westerly: The Grey Sail Brewery, 2 bookstores, antique shops, many retail shops, pubs, and restaurants. 10 minutes from Watch Hill, 40 minutes from Historic Newport, RI. There are playgrounds and tennis courts for after dinner hours of fun located just up the street at Rotary Park or enjoy a short drive to Watch Hill for ice cream and carousel ride; great for the kids-- or The Ocean House for adults. Foxwoods Resort Casino is 35 minutes away. Mohegan Sun casino is 50 minutes away. Enjoy dining in the many waterside restaurants in our area. No security deposit required.     Always a wonderful stay one of the best properties and hosts ever
    I always enjoy my stay here with my dog. This is truly one of the best hosts here and one of the best properties along with their other ones. It’s a great neighborhood and area right by the beach. The house is delightful every time I stay there there is something new they are always updating and making sure it is immaculately cleaned. Comfortable and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is super fast for my work. I’m already looking forward to coming back again soon.

    Not a nice place at all!
    Pictures posted did not depict cottage. It was filthy. Gunk on bass boards, radiators had items behind them and dirty. Kitchen ceiling is ready to fall in. Black mold in Bathroom. Windows so filthy you couldn’t barely see through. On could go on. I wanted to leave the next day but as my husband started, it’s already paid for. The sad thing is it could be a lovely place with some TLC.

    Bare Bones - Needs Some Love
    Great location. AC. Kinda buggy, had to plug some holes and cracks. Painfully small bathroom. Uncomfortable bed. Hard mattress and pillows, creaky bed frame. Was reluctant to return here every night to suffer though the bed. No door mat, kitchen towels or bath mat. WiFi is from the other house, signal only reaches the front rooms. My family was staying in two other cabins nearby and they were much nicer at a similar price, so shop around.

    We planned a last-minute trip and needed a reasonably-priced stay. This home had what we needed to be close to our family living in the area. We spent most of our time at our relatives, visiting and eating meals; however, this home worked out for our family of 6, traveling with our dog.

    Not terrible, not great either
    The cottage was an okay visit. While it appeared to have been attempted to be restored, there was improvement still needed. From the paint chipping off the walls to the drab paint on the walls. The cottage also had a dusty smell as if it hadn’t been aired out in awhile, which was shown by some of the dust collected on the shades. The remotes were sticky which was a quick turn off. There was no patio furniture or hammock set up as in the photos. The heating system was efficient and there was a clear attempt at trying to make the place feel comfortable. The location was a good location in Westerly, other than having a chicken coop on the property and being downwind from a farm.
