Western Division hotels in Laredo

"We stayed at La Posada Hotel for a quick overnight trip. The property is beautiful! Our room was very spacious and clean. We spent some time in one of their many courtyards for some evening cocktails. There are two pools and a hot tub. We didn't get to use, but we will in future stays. We had a drink at the bar. Our bartender was a very nice young lady. Our room package included a breakfast buffet. We got to the Zaragoza Grill and the service and buffet was bad. The food was cold and the selection was poor. For being a 4 Diamond hotel, it was disappointing. The supervisor claims the food was cold because the guests leave the lids open. We had just seen one of the servers bring out a tray of eggs. My eggs had to be microwaved. If you want cold eggs, chilaquiles, beans, and potatoes, this buffet is for you. The same nice, young lady/bartender was the only one who checked up on us several times. Our original server never once checked on us. The property itself is gorgeous, quiet, and the front staff was nice and professional. We look forward to our next stay, but skipping the restaurants."
