Rustic cabin feel with great location and view

Plenty of space, everything we needed. Rustic, no frills feeling. Unbelievable view of Stratton Mtn. Close to several ski mountains.

Great getaway!

House is in a great location with an amazing view from the back deck. Wonderful spot to getaway with family or friends to explore VT. Host was quick to answer any questions & the house had everything we needed for our stay. Would 10/10 stay at Reilly’s Rest again

Fantastic inside and outside

We sat on the deck and stared at the view every day. And at night the stars. The house had everything we needed and wanted-- comfortable beds, kitchen with absolutely everything, apple+TV, peace and quiet. Highly recommend this wonderful home.

Perfect Little Cabin

This place exceeded our expectations. We initially had a cabin rented that got sold before our trip and this little gem was available not knowing what we'd get. It was last minute and it couldn't have worked out better. For starters the view of Stratton Mountain from the living room was epic. Also, the owner was always in quick communication with us and very helpful with any questions. Wish the weather was better, but that's out of our control. Below is statement from our friends who stayed with us... What a lovely home away from home. Sit on the enormous deck and watch the sunset over Stratton Mountain. The red sky will follow as you prepare your families dinner in an updated kitchen that's small but had plenty of room for our party of seven. The bedrooms are set up well and although smaller felt like we had room for "me time". Two floors separate the sleeping quarters with the family open space quarters. An overall super good vibe close to Stratton and little cozy markets you expect from VT. The only minus is the 2 mile stretch of dirt road that will require a four wheel drive vehicle. We left early due to an incoming storm. The owners told us not to worry about a 10am check out time if that would help us with a safe return. Stay at Reilly Rest, you won't regret. Lastly, I would highly suggest this rental for anybody who is an outdoorsmen whether it's snow sports, summer sports, or just looking to get away and enjoy the beauty of VT. A+++++++

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful get away home! Vermont rustic style with modern touches. Very nicely decorated, just like home. Kitchen and bathrooms very nice and modern. The downstairs bedroom area was very comfortable with good beds and genuine wood rustic paneling in very good shape. The upstairs great room had a wonderful view over the countryside and a nice modern, well equipped kitchen. In a very quiet wooded area. A dream get away home with lots of style. (The outside of the home may look a little different, but don't be fooled, the inside is wonderful!). Close to the village of Weston, not far from beautiful Manchester with good restaurants and the Plymouth Notch Calvin Cooledge village.

Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing!

We loved staying in this beautiful cabin with amazing views of the Vermont landscape. The property was as described, comfortable, and well equipped. Our dog loved lounging on the deck overlooking the mountains, and so did we! We look forward to a return visit.

Great experience

Perfect, remote, quiet, picture perfect location. Seeing the flock of turkies everyday, throuhout the day, was a bonus. The view from the balcony is indescribable! Owners were available to answer any questions. Would stay here again.

It's all in the view

The physical view is wonderful:woods,fields mountains in the distance. The view of the house:basic ski house accomodations, nothing fancy but very functional.It is a great place to kick back and relax. spring fed pond is a real plus cool and refreshing.

A true retreat

I took my family and 2 small dogs here for a ski trip. I looked at pix of alot of houses and the family room here lived up to its pix. Glass walls overlooking Stratton in the distance. A big fireplace. We a actually skied, and brought bac k dinner each nite because my family just enjoyed laying on the couch, playing board games and wacthing March Madness, and just looking out at the amazing views. My kids are in their mid 20's and love this place. Cozy, clean, ez access to stores and skiing. A homerun. We want to go back in the summer. Owners checked in to make sure everything was good, an added bonus.

Perfect home for six adults and our two labs! 20 min to Okemo, 4 miles to local groceries.

Owners were quick to respond to our questions and happy to provide firewood upon request. House was very warm and charming. Close to stores and skiing. Pups loved romping in the giant field and sunning themselves on the deck. Carpets, countertops and linoleum def need updating. Enjoyed the extras provided: hand lotion, condiments, dish and laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, shampoo, etc. would def consider staying here again

Simple, rustic house, covers the basics without frills.

Nice, compact house, somewhat off the beaten path with an eclectic layout with three bedrooms and a bathroom at the entry level and a large living, dining kichen with another bathroom up a tight spral staircase. Walls, cabinets,doors all with rough hewn wood surfaces give it a cabin in the woods ambiance. Kitchen was well equipped and the fireplace was wellcome, though we had to procure our own fire wood. The Owner managers were very quick and responsive when we had trouble with icing of the sloped walking path from the parking area to the entrance which was iced up after rain was followed by cold weather. Bedrooms were small and dark and outlets for charging phones few and hard to find. Overall a pleasant place at a reasonable price.

Spectacular view, Cozy and well-designed home

We had a sensational time at this gorgeous home. The views are stunning, and the owners extremely accommodating. This home was very thoughtfully built to maximize the view and sunlight. It is filled with love. With the fire blazing, and the snow falling outside, it's like time stood still. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you!

Great weekend!

Great place! Comfortable with everything we needed. Off the beaten path, yet close to everything we wanted to do. Had a great mountain hike in the snow! Never met Ethan & Kelly face-to-face, but almost felt like I had with all of the quick, helpful correspondence!!

Quiet getaway with stunning views

I have rented quite a few places in Vermont and this one truly stands out as an all time favorite. It was very quiet and peaceful, so you could actually hear the sounds of nature. Best part is that it's only a few miles from stores and restaurants. The swimming pond was such a bonus on the hot days and Ethan and Kelly were nice enough to share that with us. It was the cleanest water and lovely for a summer dunk! We loved the open concept of the main living area and kitchen, and there are plenty of bedrooms to sleep a larger group. The outside patio became our favorite place for morning coffee, lunch and dinner because of the mountain views. I would highly recommend Reilly's Rest!

Peaceful, perfect for four humans and four dogs :)

We really enjoyed our weekend escape at Reilly's Rest! Good communication with owners who made themselves available for any questions and anything we might have needed. Plenty to see and do in the area, but also a perfectly great place to kick back and relax... Our dogs loved all the space and running around the pond next door!

Amazing place for a getaway

I rented this place for a weekend getaway with my friends and could not have been happier. The place was amazing, the owner's communications and response to our special accommodation needs was terrific. we could not have found a better place to spend our weekend in. Overnight stay was great!

We had a lovely night at Reilly's Rest, kids loved the pond and making s'mores in the campfire outside. Glad to see that you had Apple TV, were able to log in with our account and watch a movie. House was clean and compact, everything was great!
