「It is an older motel, reasonable rates, very clean and friendly clerk checking us in. We were there in June and it was hot but air conditioning worked well. The only drawback for us was that we needed 2 beds and they were upstairs. I don't do stairs well but that was not their fault and we did fine.」

「Room was fresh and clean, no fragrances. Bed was comfortable and linens were new. Shower had good pressure and was hot enough. Fridge, micro and coffee maker much appreciated. Did not try the breakfast.」

「Front desk staff when we checked in was less than accommodating and because I had booked through Expedia ( although cheaper than their discounted rate by 25-35 dollars) made us feel like second class citizens. I had previously supported and stayed at this hotel over 50-69 times over a ten year period. I will be looking for a more “accommodating” and warm reception from another hotel when I visit Walla Walla again.」

「There was a kiosk to check in a night. A foreigner from another country was the concierge through the kiosk. It was extremely hard to understand her. I had a reservation and she told said that she couldn’t find it, then later she told me she did. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom only bar soap, there was not breakfasts offer, even though the amenities said breakfasts. The only good thing about this Motel was that it was very clean. That’s all.」

「It’s a great value and I’ve stayed here before. Unfortunetely there is no sound deadening between rooms so you can hear everything!」

「I have stayed at this Red Lion many times throughout the last several years. My children & grandkids have enjoyed the pool. I was disappointed there is no restaurant, except a marginal breakfast. It was very clean; the staff all helpful. I think the whole property needs some updating & maintenance, repairs.」

「First of all, it was clean and felt safe. No regrets there. I was traveling with a friend to a convention at the Pendleton Convention Center which requires us to wear formal dresses. The only problem we encountered which is unique to our dress code requirements was there was not a closet in a room with 2 beds, so nowhere to hang our dress bags or dresses up. We had to do that in the shower which is not ideal especially when you want to take a shower. I suggested to the front desk they put...

「Perfect little room in Walla Walla. Close to town and cozy room with a great view of the hills. The manager was great and kind! I'd recommend if you need something small and functional close to town and wineries 10 minutes away!」

「Everything was just what I needed」

「I take my kids on vacation to Pendleton every year I grew up here and still come see family. This has been the go too spot for the last 2 years because the level of customer service is top tier but also because I’m traveling with 3 kiddos and this hotel has family rooms so everyone gets their own bed and breakfast is included. The only thing I wish was that the pool was heated otherwise I haven’t found a negative yet.」

「Clean, well located with a better breakfast than most free breakfast hotels (e.g. fresh blueberries and strawberry, omelette station, etc.) and a decent little grassy area for the pooch.」
