Cozy and Comfortable

The tidy Cabin was more charming than the photos and nearly everything we hoped. It was comfortably furnished and designed, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wall of windows overlooking Lost Lake and the surrounding woods. Wifi was sometimes spotty and the dock was unstable, but due to a health issues and the cool weather, we spent much time indoors tackling and enjoying a new detailed Poirot puzzle from home:) We also enjoyed a jaunt to Marquette and nearby Wetmore's brilliantly designed and fun Miners Mini Golf and Chocolate Shop Ice Cream.

Great location.

Wonderful location in the woods. Not hard to find and the communications from the property team is impeccable and very helpful .

Nice little cabin

We loved the lake and the fact that there was nice hiking close by. We brought our tandem foot-pedal kayak and enjoyed paddling around the lake. Too bad that the fishing was poor.

Perfect size for a family of 4. Not to far from a lot of the activities that we wanted to see, but at the same time it was far enough away to be quite. Nice relaxing deck off the lake. Wished the lake shore was a little bit more cleaned up that we could swim off the dock . Otherwise great place to stay

Beautiful rustic/modern cabin on the lake

Great little cabin with everything you need. A nice lake with a paddle boat and canoe to a full kitchen. Cabin was beautifully decorated with the bear/country decor. Nice fireplace when it's cold outside and nice fireplace outside when the weather is nice. I will definitely return for any vaca rentals I need in the future.

Great experience

We loved our stay at the cabin and Lost Lake. We had great paddles and fishing on Lost Lake itself and it was convenient to the inland lakes, hiking, and Lake superior. Our only issue with the cabin was that it smelled of smoke regardless of opening windows, etc. The view of the lake in the evening was wonderful. We would love to come back!

Very comfortable cabin

Clean and cozy cabin was just what we needed for our mid week getaway. Plenty of dishes and stocked with items like bath and kitchen towels, toilet paper, paper towels, soap (including dish soap) and even various spices. The bed was a bit firm to our liking but we had brought a foam topper. Better lifting would also help as the cabin interior is stained a fairly dark wood on the walls and ceiling. We were looking forward to kayaking but there was only a rowboat, canoe and paddle boat. The cabin is conveniently located for access to numerous hiking trails and watery. We enjoyed our stay.

Lost Lake

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visit was fine. Reservation dates got confused, mostly my fault, and staff were very understanding and helpful.

Perfect Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here the week before Memorial Day and absolutely loved everything. The cottage is just as pictured, so cozy and happy with a gorgeous view of Lost Lake out the giant picture window. This was a great jumping off point to all sorts of fun adventures, and also a delightful place to just chill. We had one cold, rainy day during our trip, and we spent it cozied up in the cottage, reading and watching the rain fall on the lake - absolutely delightful. Everything was clean and orderly, and we would definitely come back to stay here again. We enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake and watching the sunset from the back deck.

Nice cabin

Nice place: comfortable and great location. I don't like pedestal sink in the bathroom---no place to put toothbrush or other things used at the sink. The TV did not work as advertised. I could not use my streaming apps and no help was provided. There are still people who need technical assistance with "smart TVs" but non was offered.

Comfy cabin on a big lake.

Cabin was exceptionally clean -- spotless, in fact -- and the perfect home away from home. Despite its relatively small size, the cabin had a spacious deck in the back with a grill, hammock, and table & chairs, as well as a kitchen stocked with appliances. The television was very easy to use (don't let the other reviews scare you). The fireplace was perfect for the nights that got chilly. The beds were comfy, and the deck extending into the lake was very cool. The cabin's location was ideal too: right on the lake and very quiet, yet only a few miles from the town of Munising. The only nitpick I can think of is pretty trivial, but if you aren't used to well water, bring your own water, because it definitely tastes and smells like well water. We would not hesitate at all to stay at this cabin again if we are ever in the amazing upper peninsula of Michigan again. Very highly recommended.

Quiet and breathtaking

The view and boat access is AMAZING. All around, my stay at this property was wonderful. The only reason I left a 4 on communication with property was because they use an outside source for rental confirmation etc. while I do support this, It did confuse me a little bit on where to private message the owners. They ask not to use the Vrbo chat but I ended up using it anyways because I’m not good with tech. They responded with good timing and were helpful, so there was still customer service, but I gave it a 4 due to the clutter, in my opinion. I had 0 issues during my stay and enjoyed several hot showers, home cooked meals on the stove, and watched Castaway in their little pile of movies available :) my husband and I took a canoe out onto the lake to watch the sunset and see the stars come out. It was beautiful. I don’t go to the Yoop often, but would definitely stay here again when I go back up in the munising area.
