Check in process was very smooth. The property is spacious and the lake access is great. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots and dishes and even had some spices and essentials.

Quick Stay

We only stayed 2 nights but it is a beautiful location off the beaten path and it is as advertised. Very well maintained. Property managers responded very quickly to any questions and also let us know we could check in a few hours early. As they noted, Verizon had zero service but had no issues with wifi. Would definitely stay again.

Great few days getaway from home. The cabin/house was very clean, nice view of the lake and spacious backyards. Definitely would recommend to anyone who’s interested in a quick few days getaway from daily routine.

Beautiful get away!

The location was quite challenging to find with no phone service but once we arrived everything was perfect and comfortable. Awesome beds and linens, kayaks were a huge hit, they had everything we needed!

Peaceful weekend

This was a perfect spot to get away for a quiet and relaxing weekend. It is close enough to Munising to enjoy hikes and the beauty of God, but also nice to just stay at the VRBO, fish and relax. Place was very clean, included all the needed amenities and bonus that we could bring out dog!

Great Place!

Maters Retreat house is super cute and was perfect for our group. A cozy atmosphere on a small beautiful lake with a newly renovated upper floor. Snowmobile trails are nearby but decent amount of snow is needed on the main road to get to them. Great place to stay!
