"Loved everything about the property, the views, the decor, the heater were exceptional. Although the bathroom was amazing, the water pressure from the shower heads wasn’t great and the light directly above the mirror was not working. "I arrived before my friends and was greeted by Craig the little kookaburra, seated on the decking rail. When I entered the house the heating was already on! The bedrooms were delicious - extremely comfortable beds with high quality pillows, doonas and bed linen. My friends and I had a wonderful time, relaxing and chatting in the living area. "We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. "

"We loved our time at this property - just what we needed! A beautiful view, quiet surrounds and very close to lots do do in the area. All we needed was provided and it was a wonderful winter weekend to sit in front of the fire and relax. A beautiful spot and Heather was a wonderful host. We hope to be back!"

"We had an amazing time, thank you Jeanna :) The place is clean and has everything you could want, including a recently renovated en suite. The location is perfect for a regional getaway. We stayed for four nights and used the house as a base to explore Daylesford, Hephburn Springs, Ballarat, Bendigo and a few nearby wineries and hiking locations. Jeanna was a great host. She gave us lots of information before we got there so checking in and out and exploring the area was super easy."

"Our host was great and advised we could get early access to the apartment. On arrival I was more than happy. The rooms are beautiful with just about everything you need for the perfect stay. Sat right on the banks of the lake it’s great for early morning walks and fishing. A short walk into town, about 15 mins. A bit uphill going but easier coming back. My only complaint was an electric blanket would have been most welcome as the apartment can get cold even with the open fire going all evening...

"Delightful and well equipped little cottage, very convenient to the main street of Daylesford. Two rooms are in the house, the other is at the back of the house about 5m from the back door (this wasn’t an issue for us, but might be something to consider for others). Everything was beautifully presented, the bedrooms were very cosy and the kitchen extremely well equipped! Thank you!"
