Perfect Whistler Get-a-way at The Marquise!. Located in the Benchlands area of Upper Whistler Village, you will love this well kept and comfortable 1 bedroom condo. Just walk across the street, step into your skis and to access Blackcomb mountain and ski down to the Wizard Chair Lift.

*NOTE- no cable service on TV. We have the HDMI cable available for you to stream from your laptop.

- Village Access: Steps across the street to the slopes to ski down to the village, or use the free Ski shuttle bus that goes directly to the Village

- Ski Storage & Bike Storage: Ski locker on lower floor, bike storage in secure parkade

Stayed two nights to do some mountain biking. Place was great for three adults and had good safe storage for mountain bikes (recommend you bring a lock if you want added security as the storage shed is shared, but not a necessity).

The condo was clean and comfortable for me and my friend. Ski and ski out didn't work, maybe because it wasn't enough snow. The "stocked" kitchen description was about forks and cups. There was just one small cofee bag and a few small bags with sugar. Nothing else. In the other places the host would leave at least small potion of salt, oil, spices etc. Something you could start basic cooking- it was empty here. Small bottle of shampoo- just for one time to use. We booked place for a week. So that was upsetting. The instruction to start a fire place was too complex, the switch was in pieces falling out of the wall. Looks like nobody used it for a while because it wasn't useable or brocken. We were afraid to even touch it. No tv at all. But the rest was ok.

The condo was perfect for 2 adults. Having the extra sink outside the bathroom was great! The bus stop is conveniently located by the property and due to snow conditions this year we rode the bus into Whistler to catch the lift. The hot tub was therapeutic after a day of hard packed skiing .

The Marquise provided us with a lovely stay, away from the village scene, in the trees. (Bus service to the village is free and there’s a stop nearby, so you can get to the Marquise on public transportation.) Our suite provided a comfortable bed and sofa bed, which allowed us to accommodate our son who lives and works in Whistler. The kitchen and linen closet had all that you need for a family. The host (Bob at iTrip) provided a timely response when I had a question. Many thanks.

Walking distance to the Blackcomb gondola but easy accessible to both Blackcomb and Whistler bases by a free shuttle steps away from the lobby entrance. Clean and functional. Although there is a good wifi, there is no cable or TV stations on the monitor. Need to bring your own streaming device (HDMI cable provided). Would stay again.

Overall, the property suited our needs and had everything we needed; location is good. The mattress was uncomfortable and the comforter smelled as if it had not been washed in a very long time. I did not sleep well at all but everyone has different ideas on a comfortable mattress, so this is simply my opinion. Comforter definitely needs washing though, as that was gross; everything else in condo was clean and in good condition. The mini fridge was fine for us as we only used it for fruit for our breakfasts but might be a problem if you planned to cook all your meals there. The ski in out is slightly misleading as you have to walk out of property and cross the road to reach the path that leads to ski slope although not too big of a deal. The worst was having to go to the village Deer Lodge to check in, which once there, we found was completely unnecessary since there were no keys to pick up as lock is via code. More wasted time on day of check out as to leave our bags we had to take them all the way back to the Deer Lodge guest services in the village which involved two bus rides as there is nowhere to leave them at the Marquis. We had to store our luggage in a supply closet with old mop water; could be a turn off to some people. While grateful we could leave our luggage somewhere so we could get some slope time in before leaving; it was extremely inconvenient for us as we traveled from Vancouver by bus so we didn't have a car. I would recommend this place for an economical short term stay; the condo was cozy and well supplied.

This was a great location, walking distance to the main village yet far enough away, it was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and very affordable. The property manager was great. I would recommend this accommodation.

Overall a good place to stay. It can get warm as there is only one small window in the main living area. The construction was noisy at times but looks like it should be done soon.

The unit was conveniently located close to Upper Village and Lost Lake Trail. It was clean but got very hot since there was no AC. The complex was under renovation and you can hear the mind numbing noise of jack hammer and other heavy construction equipment from 8am to 5pm every day. I wish the property manager was forthcoming by saying this rather than white wash this whole affair. Thankfully we were out all day long so this was not a major issue but when we rerun for lunch, it was quite annoying. Also we lost our hot water 2 nights in a row. I am not sure if this had anything to do with the renovation, but after all day of hiking or biking and coming home to a cold shower was not fun. The unit was stocked well in one respect, but in some ways it was not. There were tons of cups, glasses and bowels but so salt and paper in empty shakers, no cooking oil, and not the silverware was hodgepodge of cheap restaurant quality material. There was only one frying pan which looked like someone used it to drive a fence post in the ground. We were not impressed. Because the room got so hot we left our windows open, but it was very close to the street and you can hear people walking just outside as if they were walking next to you. And you can hear many partygoers screaming outside throughout the night. Equipment storage was plentiful but since nobody told us about the bike storage room, we kept our bikes outside for 2 days until a guest in the complex informed us of the bike storage space. Overall we enjoyed our stay not because of the place but being in Whistler with easy access. But I wish the description of the unit was bit more accurate and there should be a warning of the noise from the renovation.

Thought there was 2 bathrooms but was actually one bath with a separate sink in the bedroom. Garage is 6'4" so if you have a oversized truck, you'll need to park elsewhere. Good place to stay though
