「We arrived in the north woods and were greeted by a lovely host, one of a lovely couple who own this location. The hosts live on the top floor and rent out the bottom floor of this charming tri level. 「The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. A bit too cold still (late April!) to enjoy the cute porch facing the lake though. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. On the whole a lovely weekend! The one small criticism would be that the towels were a weird microfiber material that was hard to get used to.」

「I highly recommend this property. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. Nicely redone with plenty of space. The basement is a good spot to shoot pool and play darts and even has a pac man arcade game. You can play music and not worry about bothering neighbors because there are no houses on either side of the property. 「On the second day a thunderstorm came through and knocked out the internet for the remainder of our stay. This was problematic for one person in our party who needed to stay connected with work. The bathtub drain is plugged. Unable to locate anyone to help us with this. Aside from these two issues, the property was great with a fantastic view. Loved the space, the privacy and the location. 「Everything was pretty much as presented in the description. The owner kept in communication with me, asking if I needed anything. It’s an older home, but she has kept it up and it had everything you needed. We went there to snowmobile, unfortunately for the first time in decades, there was no snow. The only issue is the location is on the highway, and even though it is in town, log trucks rolled through all night, if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem. All being said, we’ll try again...
