Great spot
Great location, a few blocks from town. Walkable to downtown White Salmon, and all that it offers, the hiking trails near the mountain bike park. house that is slightly worn and funky, but that is good for families.

Wonderful Location, Wonderful House
Loved our time here. Big, comfortable, clean house. The views of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are spectacular. White Salmon is a pretty little town, and the bigger, fun town of Hood River is just over the bridge.

Beautiful location, super well stocked home
The home was excellent for a mini getaway from Vancouver for our family of four! Lots of games, kitchen tools and the view can’t be beat!

Book with Confidence!
Perfect backdrop for memories to be made! The large home easily accommodated our group of 6 adults. Stunning view of the gorge and Mt. Hood, well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, and extremely clean. Wonderful location to poke around in the cute shops in White Salmon and Hood River. We actually had a few snowflakes Christmas eve, adding to this special stay! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. One thing to watch out for is the designated sloped parking area to the left of the bamboo…very muddy, and we actually got stuck. It took us 30 minutes of inching out, with two fellas pushing the car to finally reach pavement. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and allowed our Christmas gathering to be a most memorable one.

Beautiful Home - Amazing View
We spent Thanksgiving 2023 at this amazing home. Dinner with an amazing view! The owners provide everything you need and then some. It is fully stocked with dishes and cooking needs and tons of spices for cooking. The beds are so comfortable. The hot tub is wonderful after hiking and exploring! We will go back in the summer months and explore more! Thank you!

Great time!
Great house! Just a few items need some TLC: main floor bathroom toilet is splitting and needs to be tightened down; master bedroom door doesn’t latch; kitchen could use wash cloths; parking strip needs to be brushed out. Overall though, really enjoyed the house and location!

Beautiful views
Loved our stay. The house was even more charming than the photos in the listing. The kitchen was so well equipped. The house was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. The views of the river and Mt. Hood we’re beautiful. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed walking our dog. Would visit again!

Everything is perfect- this is the place you want!
VERY excited to find this incredible property available in August to enjoy some hiking & kayaking time around Mt. Hood. This home has EVERYTHING- absolutely breathtaking views of and convenient access to Mt. Hood, easy parking & close proximity to a great grocery store, a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, laundry, tons of space (we comfortably fit two couples, two teens, and two children), and the most luxurious beds we’ve ever had! I still can’t believe our luck- and would give this fantastic rental our highest recommendation!

White Salmon Grand View!
Three life-long girlfriends had their annual "reunion" in this beautiful house, perched on the hillside above White Salmon, with a breathtaking view of Mt Hood from every room! Well-equipped to meet our every need, wrap-around decks on three levels, efficient wall heating/cooling throughout, comfortable beds. We had a wonderful two days and will recommend this place to family and friends! Thanks for sharing this lovely home. 😻💕

What a view!!
My extended family, including two young children very much enjoyed this beautiful property. We had some sunny days, and the view of Mount Hood was out of this world. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Everyone had enough room to meet their various needs, and enough bathrooms to avoid any family arguments. White Salmon is a cute little town. Lots of good food. Lots of peace and quiet.

Magnificent View
The house was well-furnished, very comfortable, with excellent beds. The view of Mt. Hood is out of this world. The primary bedroom weirdly has a skylight, but they do provide eye masks for light control. Great kitchen, stocked with all the necessities for entertaining.

Good location, beautiful view
House is nice enough with a great kitchen for cooking and plenty of room at the table. View of Mt Hood is spectacular. Yard could use some tending. The owners bedroom is nice but second bedroom upstairs is small and crowded with furniture. If you want more than a big soaking tub, you will be disappointed by the hot tub. The area it is in is not well tended and the jets don’t work. This was one of the main reasons we chose this place so we were very disappointed. Neighborhood is quiet and walkable to shops and restaurants.

Functional Cute House
We loved the flow of the house. We had a nice relaxing stay in this qiuet neighborhood. It was a nice touch to see a basket full of beach towels next to the sliding door. We noticed the hot tub was more chemical feeling then normal but I wonder if that's because it just got serviced since we came on a Wednesday and the listing said it gets serviced that day. Not a big deal but the next day my kids and I got an itchy rash that lasted a few days. Bummer. The back yard needs some basic upkeep.. I was surprised to see the listing pictures matched exactly to what the bushy backyard looks like. Not a deal breaker though we were more focused on the beautiful scenery. Everything was neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views and felt like home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The views were incredible! The home was clean, cozy atmosphere while being open with plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen, labeled, with all the basics for cooking, which we love to do. Bathrooms in every room a major plus!, Cute quiet neighborhood with all the Gorge has to offer within reach. Would definitely recommend and will go back while family lives in the area.

Perfect Week
This property was everything we expected and more. The location was just a few blocks from the store so our girls were able to walk there for snacks. The view was spectacular and took my husband right back to his childhood. We could not have asked for a better stay and a better location!

Nice family getaway
This was our first annual family girls trip. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and comfortable sleeping options. Loved the open spacious kitchen, the views and the hot tub. We did have a significant wind and rain storm during our stay which caused a leak in the skylight above the king bed, but they sent over a handyman to move the bed.

This property has spectacular views of the Columbia River, Hood River and Mt. Hood all three! Amazing to look out the large windows on every level and just soak it all in! Hot tub was great, beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and even had extras. Every bedroom comes with its own bathroom. Loved the location! Walking distance to grocery store and dining. Quick 5 minute trip to Hood River for even more dining and shopping. But also away from the main traffic areas and very quiet. We'd visit again for sure!

We had a wonderful, peaceful time at the rental. It was very clean, as the cleaning crew was just heading out when we walked in. The space and the views were just incredible! The "high speed" internet was not an accurate description though, but it was OK for browsing the internet and checking email, not much else. Would definitely stay again!

White Salmon views Galore
My husband and I met our daughter to stay for a week. The view of the river and Mt. Hood is beautiful. I took many photos of the view. We had plenty of space for the three of us. The hot tub was fabulous. The beds were comfortable, the wood burning stove perfect for the winter temperatures and convenient to White Salmon, Bingen and Hood River. This is a perfect home.

Spectacular view!
This is a beautiful light-filled house with outstanding views of Mt Hood and the Columbia gorge from almost every window. The house has a semi-open floor plan with one of the most organized kitchens I’ve ever experienced in a rental home. Cupboards and drawers are labeled for their contents and the pots and pans are in excellent condition. This is a very quiet neighborhood. We saw quail, deer and many birds; yet we could walk to a small grocery store in just 0.3 miles. All in all I give it 5 stars; but if I could change one thing, it would be to have the lower backyard fully fenced and the brush cleared out. so we could allow our dog to use it. That said, we would definitely come nack again.

Torn! Great Property, Poor Experience with Property Managers
I would totally rent this place again if it weren't for my experience with the property managers. If "communication" means just responding to text messages then yes, they did that however they did nothing in attempting to resolve our issue. The property managers were not aware that the AC unit that was failing was in the main living area. Only after I sent photos of the air conditioning unit did we "think" we were going to get some help. Our text message communications started at 7:00 AM and ended only 12 hours later with "I will check back with our maintenance worker" at 7:00 PM. There was no resolution, no apology and no conversation about how this all went down. We were pretty understanding the morning prior when a tree-trimming project was being done on the property to "beat the heat" at 7:00 AM. You could tell it wasn't a real person on the other end of our communications or someone who cared at least. Didn't get much rest because it was hotter in the home than it was outside. This where I feel terrible for the homeowner, they pay for this service as did we! I should also like to mention that this failure in air conditioning started the evening prior and my partner did try to resolve it before we reached out to the property managers. The property is in a great location! We were able to walk downtown and enjoy the little town of White Salmon and all it had to offer. We loved the idea that each set of friends had their own restrooms. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub for obvious reasons and didn't do as much cooking as we wanted to in the home because we didn't want to bring up the temperature inside. We made the best of it in the end however we will not be booking especially if Arrived Now is the property managers.

Great Oasis Close to Everything
It was a perfect house for our group of three couples, two kids and two dogs. The house was clean and well appointed. Plenty of seating on comfy furniture to maximize the view. The kitchen was well stocked for a group and plenty of staples were on hand which is always appreciated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The house is walking distance to the market and little downtown and just across the toll bridge from downtown Hood River. I would rent again just for the view but all the other positives make it a for sure renting again property!

This house had everything. Fantastic views, a great location close to town, and plenty of space for 7 adults. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the house was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. I would definitely return for another stay.

Spectacular view and location!
Incredible view and location! Quick walk to lots of cute shops and restaurants. Found quite a few loose nails lying around and one that was sticking up over an inch on a stair near the hot tub. Hammered it back in with a rock to make sure no one stepped on it barefoot. In general the furniture, particularly the chairs, seemed kind of cheap and one broke while sitting on it (not leaning nor moving). The basement room is a lot darker than the upstairs rooms which have a view of Mt Hood. But the downstairs room is right next to the hot tub so that's a bonus. Overall the place was awesome and was a great value. We plan to return!
