Perfect house for our stay with friends

The house was perfect for our group of friends. Clean, well equipped and the hosts were very easy to contain prior to our stay. This was our 2nd stay amd we'll be happy to book again!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family weekend. The home is very spacious, has an updated kitchen and is very clean with all the amenities we needed! We're looking forward to staying there again and we highly recommend it~

Great space and location

This was a great place for a multi-family stay. There are four large bedrooms, two living spaces and two eating spaces. Our kiddo loved the toy area!

Great place in a great location

My family and I were visiting WSS to see friends in the area. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. It was in a great location, right downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Thanksgiving

House was wonderful, we loved that it was all decorated for Christmas. Our granddaughter loved all the toys. Only wish it would have been a little warmer so we could have done more outside.

Family gathering for 5K/Mother’s Day

This property is perfect for our family and has so many things you don’t even realize you need! This is our 3rd stay and I can’t say enough how much we like the ability to have separate spaces for family to relax.

Very cute huge home

Very cute home just a few steps from Main Street and the school house hotel. We stayed the weekend for a wedding at the greenbrier- location was super convenient to catch shuttles to and from the school house hotel. The house is huge with a very nice shaded backyard to relax. Would recommend!

Good looking property.. we stayed in January so didn't go outside to use all the space has to offer. The inside had what we needed and some.

Wonderful Home

This wonderful home is actually described well in both photos and print. It is in a great location for visiting The Greenbrier as well as walking uptown to shop or to eat. Communication with the hosts was prompt.

Fabulous!

What a fabulous winter break we had at this beautiful house! It is beautifully decorated, well equipped with everything we needed, and so comfortable, not to mention centrally located. I highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future!

Charming and absolutely beautiful

We absolutely loved our stay. The home has southern classic charm. Beautiful furniture. Beautifully decorated throughout. The bedrooms are absolutely gorgeous!! Clean and comfortable. We would love to able able to stay there again. The only issue is that our stay was way too short!

A Great Time Was Had By All

We had a wonderful stay! The house has a fantastic kitchen with a spacious dining room, entertainment room, and living room on the first floor and a nice backyard with a fire pit and plenty of split wood to burn. All bedrooms are nice and located on the second level. The owners of the property were quick to respond to all questions and needs!

Perfect for our weekend!!

This house was exactly what we were looking for for our small family weekend. We had our 4 year old grandson with us and the play area was ideal on the rainy weekend. What an awesome idea for that space! The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, the living spaces were large and the outdoor area was beautiful. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job with this house. We had everything we needed. Thank you so much and we will be booking again!!

Girls week gathering

Property is spacious and updated to current standards. This was a girls week and there were 7 of us. The owners had beautifully decorated the house and yard for Christmas. We would definitely recommend this for a gathering.

Birthday trip

The house was very nice and well equipped. Had some difficulty figuring out TV's, but was nice there were one in each bedroom. Restaurants listed need updating. Some were closed permanently and some have changed. Had lunch at The Lunch Box. Order and sit outside. It was excellent sandwiches. Went on Bunker Tour which was interesting. Enjoyed the town of Lewisburg which had lots of restaurants and shopping.

A Wonderful West Virginia Weekend Stay

We were here for our Nephew's wedding in Lewisburg. The house was perfect and exceeded our expectations. It was well stocked and they provided everything you might need for a short stay. In addition it is a beautifully decorated home with so many rooms. The location was perfect and we had a nice lunch at the Big Draft Brewing. We wish we had more time to explore. The hosts were so helpful and quick to respond to my many questions. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely love to stay again.

Great older home, would definitely stay again

This is a great older home and even though it’s basically in the middle of town…it was always very quiet. The owners were easy to communicate with and always available. They kitchen was perfect for whatever you wanted to make, and there were plenty of spices, eggs, butter, coffees, oils etc, which I thought was a very nice touch. House is very comfortable and could easily support 8. Important to note that all the bedrooms are upstairs, and probably not suitable for the physically challenged. There is one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. All in all, very happy we stayed there, and you probably will too!

Great location and house with history

The house was an older home with lots of history. Kitchen set up was a little cramped and tricky at times, but it was very well stocked. The back yard with patio and deck was a great place to lounge in the evening. Short walk to the Greenbriar, several shops on Main and a community park with a playground. Lots to do. House could have been a little cleaner, but it wasnt too bad. Minor dust bunnies and a really dirty trash can. There was no broom to be able sweep and had to go buy one so we could keep up with it. All and all, we truly enjoyed ourselves. If it werent for the steep stairs to get to the bedrooms, which were difficult for older individuals, we would go back.

Family Reunion at Greenbrier

Everything in the house was clean and accommodating, just as we expected from prior stays. Frustrating thing this time was the road construction, which prevented us from driving directly into the side parking area. We had to unload from the street and carry our luggage across a neighbor's lawn to the house. Later we discovered an alternate way into the house. Then, as fortune would have it, they completed the construction and removed all barriers to entry. Very frustrating. The only thing the owner could have done was forewarn us. That would have been helpful and saved us some trouble.

Nice historic home

This home is over 100 years old and has all the character you would expect. It is comfortably decorated both physically and aesthetically. It is just behind Main Street, so it’s convenient to a few good restaurants and just a skip from the Greenbrier. On the flip side of that, it is just off Main Street and commercial traffic can be a bit loud in the morning. It settles down around lunch though so it wasn’t a big deal for us.
